If you need a set of smaller metric drills and taps, give this set a try!
I've had this set for about 2.5 years and have used it a lot. I've manually drilled, used this in my milling machine, and also in a mag drill. I'd say that's pretty diverse. I have ran Anchor Lube most of the time when using them, for whatever that's worth. Here's what I can say about them. They've held up great. I've had no issues, no chips, and the drill bits still are pretty dang sharp all things considered. The case is nice and I think this set will keep on truckin for years to come. If you need a good set of metric drill and taps that will get the job done, this set considers strong consideration. One tip is buy cheapish pilot bits for larger holes, and use that to remove a bulk of the material. That saves wear and tear on the specialized bits. I think I run like a 5/32 cobalt bit most of the time and then following it up with the proper drill size for the tapped hole I need to make. Works great.

Good tools. Out of expectation.
Get the job done. Good tools. Drill the right size hole and tap the metal. The tap is sharp, cut the metal easily but it may be new. Let see. Will keep the tool for future use. Wide range tap sizes. Fit most scenarios. It saves my day. One engine mount bolt is broken. Can't retract it. Drill a hole on top of the broken bolt and tap a new threaded hole. Tighten a new SS bolt. Will drive the car for a summer vacation soon. Need a secured engine desperately.

Good Product, Exceptional Service
I ordered both UNC and Metric sets. I ordered these because I could not find any that HSS and not 4 times in price. if you are doing production you need the higher priced parts but as a hobbyist these offer great value. What no one tells you is that all cheap taps are really for chasing to repair threads not for forming threads. I did some M10-1.5 threads without issue but 1/2-13 tap broke on first attempt. It was an over torque failure, not a manufacturer defect. Sometimes this happens even with good taps. I emailed Accusize with pics and followed up with a call next day. After providing them with order details they sent me a replacement tap. The replacement tap is spiral tap with 3 cutting edges (vs 4 on the original). It results in a beefier core with less material eaten up by the flutes. Any that break in my set, i will replace with spiral. I would rate Accusize service as exceptional. I saw a bad review on the drills. I believe they are fine for the price point. You can get better ones for more money. I hope users know to drill in steps and donโt try to drill larger holes in a single step. I only intend to use the included drills to do at most 1/16โ cut or less. Use your 1/64โ set to get as close to the final tap size and then use the included bit for final go.

RECOMMENDED. Good quality.
NICE SET. So far, I used the M8 and M6 drill/tap pairs on aluminum with appropriate lubricants. The components were nicely machined and sharp. Manually tapped holes were cleanly cut. Chips broke nicely. The drills and taps are well packaged in a steel case that was inside a cardboard box and an inner card stock box. The ends of the drills and taps were protected from banging against the inside of the steel case with a piece of protectant foam. The drills and taps were clearly labeled in high-contrast white-on-black numbers and letters. Those labels, however are printed on a vinyl sheet that is glued to the tap and drill index. Unknown how that vinyl & adhesive will fare over time with exposure to oils and lubricants.

Handy case, good performance.
You just need a tap holder, and a drill press. The taps are well made, drills are good size, and the case is wonderful for storage. Just make sure you use oil of some kind when drilling and tapping steel! Helps extend the life of both the bit and the tap, and speeds things along too.

Good quality...but....
It's good quality but I wished the country of origin was posted.... A previous reviewer stated it's made in Canada which may have been the case for that buyer but the current item I got is NOT made in Canada... Paid $55 for the set and if I had to buy the parts separately it would run about $70 or more so value wise it's ok. It's well packaged. So far works well. Works great with tapping oil

Very nice set, worth the money
I'm not a machinist, but a hobbyist that works on small CNC machines and bicycles that are usually metric, so I picked up this set. Also my first tap set, so I don't have much to compare to. I do have a lot of drill bits (like most people) so I can tell there's quite a difference between these and a standard black oxide set. Also super convenient to have them with the taps, especially for metric. Case is also nice sheet metal (although I wish they would've put the small ones up front, so 4.99โญ lol). The drills and taps have cut like a dream in the 10 or so times I've used this so far. I always use some oil, but I don't think you'd need it for aluminum. Will update this if I have any issues...

Great product with sharp bits
Drilled and tapped medium carbon steel like a dream. Very happy with this product. Even broke through the worked hardend bottom from a previous attempt.

Definitely not a Norseman.
Metal case is good, although bit racks are a bit flimsy, I can see the rivets failing. Bits are non coated so use lots of lube. Handy to have bits and taps together, saves toolbox space. An acceptable hobby set at a hobby price if used with care.

Sturdy and sharp, well made Canadian product
Does the job as one would expect, I work largely with aluminum and steel, obviously use Tapcut or another choice cutting fluid and these should last quite awhile. Also Canadian manufactured which is an added bonus.
