Samichlaus is a Doppelbock styled beer made is Austria, known for its strength (ABV: 14%!). Brewed in Austria only once a year on December 6. Samichlaus is aged for 10 months before bottling. This beer is perhaps the rarest in the world. The tulip-shaped beer glass is perfect for sipping this beer, and you need to sip not gulp. The Samichlaus logo is printed in gold lettering on the side of the glass and there is a gold stripe around the rim to increase its appeal. Rare beer and rare glass.

Samichlaus -- a great seasonal malty ale, weighing-in at 14 % ABV!
Too expensive, really, ($15 shipped) but since I am a Samichlaus ale fan, I had to have one!
