I love this thing. It’s easy to use, easy to calibrate. Nice little case, reasonable price. I use it to measure the total dissolved solids for an aquarium.

I ordered this TDS Pocket Tester because I was so impressed with the Apera PH meter. They seems to be high quality and built with lasting materials. It not your ordinary cheap light weight plastic PH meter. It is a little pricey, but this one will last! You will also get awesome Accuracy: ±1% F.S. Calibration is easy and exactly the same as you would do for the PH meter. In fact, both PH and TDS calibration is on the same page, same buttons and all. This make it very easy to remember how to calibrate without different manuals. I really like / appreciate the case, calibration and 2 calibration solutions are stored in a really nice strong case. Keeping everything together and ready to use is Key!! I have just started using the TDS meter and getting use to liquid nutrients. This is the reason I purchased the meter. From what I see so far it it a great TDS meter. I have nothing to compare to but just the impressive quality tells me I should be good with with one!

Same as the PH meter but the TDS version. Excellent Metter, brand is not to be bothered because apera is definitely up there in quality for the price compared to the blue guys meter. Easy to use, easy to calibrate and easy to store with distilled water. Only had it for 2 months but so far it's on point and have not had to calibrate it since I got it.

I Love Apera products. I own the TDS20,EC20, and Ph20. I have been using these products for months and they are very accurate, Easy to Calibrate with the included Calibration Solutions. They also come in a sturdy case with Calibration instructions. I would recommend these products to anyone concerned about their water quality or growing hydroponics or growing anything that you want to control Ph, EC, PPM.

Well designed for a $60 instrument. Instructions seriously lacking with regard to clarity. Turn it on by quickly pressing top button. Quickly...... I also have the pH version and it is equally well designed.

The kit came with Quality Certificate card, tested at 84 mS/cm, 1413 mS/cm & 12.88mS/cm, with SKU, serial number & country of origin. The instruction is easy to follow (the font is too small though, they do include laminated instruction card and you can download the instruction PDF from the factory). The kit came with 2 bottle of calibrating solution, which I use every time when measuring my APEC R.O. system (probably overkill). The tool came factory calibrated and instruction states use one solution (1413 mS/cm) to calibrate is good enough. Important tip to prolong the life of the calibrating solution is avoiding contamination. Simply rinse & dry the probe tip before and after every measuring/calibrating session help. The manufacture suggest replace the calibrating solution after 5-10 times of calibration to keep its accuracy

I regret buying this. I got a cheap meter that's way better. Its faster on the display and on the readings. I used the calibration solution from this kit on the cheap one and it was having a better time reading it then the apera meter. This is simple technology just get a cheap one.
