Deck Plus Wood Screws, #10 x 3in, 5lb Box 310 Pieces, Tan

Maybe it’s too early for a review as I used these to rebuild/repair my garden beds which are simply pressure treated 2 x 6’s in a rectangular pattern x 12 - we shall see 5 years from now if they hold up. I must admit I bought them on sale and they were less expensive than Home Depot or Lowe’s in a similar type - however they seemed just fine and I have no complaints- I think I will order again if needed whether they are on sale or not. Oh one more thing- they came in a very handy plastic case instead of a cardboard box - bad news is that plastic case got broken in transit- oh well- I almost complained but did not - the screws were a OK.

I ordered these for a privacy fence project. They don’t strip or break. Can screw the head right through a 2x4 if you wanted with no problem.

Not much to say about bucking screws they're decking screws. They have star heads and they drive in easier than a Phillips without slipping too much.. I personally threw him onto an impact driver just to make sure they go in without having to do too much enforce. For what they are they work great my only complaint is that their pricy. I feel like they should come in 10 lb and give you a much better discount but they don't... Instead they do a quantity of screws... Which for a deck of my size wasn't enough and isn't enough. Due to the fact that I needed four boxes of these screws it gets very Expensive.... And by the way find a five pack of Star bits that are at least two inches long so when you put them in your drill driver they have grip and actually go in if you're going to use them through 2 inches, like I am. Well there's not a lot you can say about decking screws and all decking screws seem to be expensive right now so that's about it.

This is actuall the third box of these Deck Plus screws that I have purchased while building my deck. They are coated specifically for use with treated lumber, and they hold every this in place well. I have ended up using more screws than I originally expected because the treated lumber was still wet and would twist and move as it dried.These screws have done a great job holding eveything securely in place. One thing I would recommend when working with wet treated lumber is having a C-clamp handy. I had to use one on some of the boards to staighten them out and hold them in position before driving the screws. Once everything was clamped where I wanted it, the screws pulled everything together and held it securely. Ive been very happy with the screws and have purchased three boxes. I would definitely recomend them for anyone useing treated lumber, especially on a deck project.

Purchased this brand Deck screw many times in various lengths. Out of the 5lb boxes, have yet to even break or strip the screw head. The Hex head allows quick install and removal of screw. no pre-drilling the hole required and mostly used on Treated lumber. Comes with a BIT for install but short type. nice coating so no rust yet. Claims Lifetime warranty on box. Same brand at Lowes and other retailers is at least $5 more for same size. AMAZON finally put this last container in a plastic bag to prevent spillage into the shipping box. That has not been the case until this order and many times had to cleanup a box full of screws putting them back into the container.
