THESE ACTUALLY WORK!!!
THESE ACTUALLY WORK! I'm literally shocked at how well these work! I tried all the other goggles available: all of which either didn't "seat" themselves around my eyes to create the enclosed environment to retain the moisture to help my dry eye experience, or they were so bulky as to interfere with my sleep when I rolled onto my side! The first night I tried these goggles, not only did they fit nicely and snugly (of course, you can adjust the snugness based on how tight to make the elastic) without creating a suction and create the enclosure around my eyes, but the next day, MY EYES WERE THE MOST COMFORTABLE THEY HAVE BEEN IN YEARS AND ALL DAY LONG TOO! Plus, I slept so well with these goggles; they are seamlessly align with my face such that I don't notice them even when I roll onto my side and nestle into my pillow! I bought the clear so that I could still see the clock at night or go to the bathroom in the night without having to remove the goggles and break the moisture barrier! I am literally shocked at how well these fit and how much they improve my experience of dry eyes!

Humidifier for the Eyes
Was diagnosed with dry eyes. Doesn't really bother me during day. It's at night that really gets me. Pretty sure I sleep with my eyes a bit opened. What happens is I will be awoken with severe eye pain & eyes water. Honestly feels like something is pressing on eye. Tried eye drops, didn't work. Tried gel drops, didn't work. Tried night time gel, and that worked. Although wasn't really liking putting a gel with the thickness of Vaseline in my eyes. Also, the gel would jack up my sinuses. Caused me to have nasal drip throughout the day. Maybe my body would adjust in time, who knows. Anyways, did a search on nighttime eye masks & discovered these goggles. Been using for 2 weeks now & having no problems with dry eyes at night whatsoever. Goggles are lightweight to not bother me while I sleep. When using, it's important they fit right. Not too tight & not too loose. If too tight, will bother throughout the night. Too loose and they won't work properly. You want tight enough to create a seal & moisture. My only concern is there are a lot of reviews that say after several months they tear. Hopefully the manufacturer has corrected this problem. They are expensive so getting only 6 months of use is not what I call good value.

LIFE SAVING!
I've had a lifelong issue with dry eyes, but a few years ago we moved to the high desert for work. I was OK for a while with eye drops and "toughing it out," but possibly because I've been doing a lot more computer work since the pandemic, the pain and suffering had become much worse. I'm talking want-to-gouge-my-eyes-out-sometimes, giving-up-my-job-to-move-to-the-humid-coast level.I tried lots of things: "vitamin" supplements specifically designed for the eyes (no effect), dry eye gel at night (sticks the eyes shut and not helpful) or humidifiers (only partially effective, and lead to mold and mineral deposits everywhere), eye massagers (ineffective, my glands work fine), drops and gels during the day (they help, but need to be reapplied constantly, are expensive, burn when they go in, and don't completely work), a half a dozen different types of sleep masks (didn't fit, were expensive, or didn't work), and what worked best prior to this product: Glad Press'n'Seal while sleeping. That worked the best, BUT 1) it's a little bit of a hassle to apply and remove, and makes getting up and going to the bathroom at night more difficult and dangerous when you're older, and more importantly 2) because it's essentially glued over your eye sockets your eyes will rub against it during Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep, so I'd wake up with red, irritated eyes, like someone had wiped them with a dry cloth - MUCH better than dry eyes, but not ideal. If you can't afford the goggles, or are wary, get the Glad. It beats 90% of the stuff out there. But then I bought these sleep goggles. It's only been a few days, so I don't know how long they last (others warn about that, but if they DO break I already have a backup mask I can stick the eye sockets into, as another reviewer explained) - but this is a lifesaver. Now I wake up, and throughout the day, feel like a normal person again, like I did before moving to the damned desert. I have no pain or redness in my eyes (except toward the end of a long day - I still live in the damned desert). My eyes feel properly lubricated upon waking and throughout the day - without drops. I don't need drops immediately upon waking. Now I feel I can handle years or decades more of life in the damned desert. Now I feel I can handle life again. It's hard to express how much suffering had built up, and how much I was tolerating - and how it's almost all now gone, suddenly, in just the last week. I've had ups and downs for the past two years - sometimes it improved with some product or vacation in a humid area, then got worse again. But now, it's like I've woken up from a nightmare of tortured imprisonment, where I was shouldering a burden that no one else had but that was slowly killing me - and I didn't even know it was a nightmare. Or escaped from a maze where I thought the only exit was death itself.I thought nothing would work. I balked at the $60 cost (which is a ripoff for silicone goggles, but worth it for even a few months without pain - and again, if they break I can continue using them by fitting them into another mask). They look funny, and you can't see through them well enough to use while awake (but then again, you don't need to). But I wish I had bought them years ago, when my eyes really started hurting.I've been given a new lease on life. I can live again. I sound like I'm joking, but I'm dead serious. If you have dry eyes, get them.

Expensive, Uncomfortable, Doesn’t fit. Not worth the $$
My eye doctor recommended this to me for my dry eyes due to not closing my eyes completely while sleeping. For the price I figured it would be at least a little comfortable as well as effective. MassiveNo to both. The mask shape is too big so the rubber seal doesn’t fit around my face properly & leaves gaps at the bridge of my nose, between my eyebrows, my cheekbones etc no matter how much I adjust it. This left my eyes just as dry as they always are upon waking up which completely defeats their purpose. And the rubber seal is so heavy and uncomfortable. The rubber feels tacky and unpleasant on my skin, like I have a piece of tire on my face. For the price you’d think they’d add a soft cool material to the seal to make it a little more comfortable against your skin. They can put flocking inside rubber/latex cleaning gloves to make them more pleasant to wear why can’t they do that for these? Would it really compromise the seal that much? Might as well wear swimming goggles to sleep in. It’s winter right now & the air is dry so I can only imagine how miserable these will feel to wear on hot humid summer nights. Such a disappointment. I am returning.
