Zojirushistainless server coffee maker for five cups EC-KT50-RA

Although the machine was made in China, and not Japan, as the reviews said, i like its performance.It is big enough to make 2 large mugs of coffee. The 100 electric volts work well in US, without a transformer. Although the manual is in Japanese, i was able to set up the machine efficiently with some coffee machine using experience and the detailed illustrations in the menu. The water tank is clear and removable and the markings are easy to read.They show u how to flush clean the drip cup and the recessed areas of the thermal carafe cap. Some customer think it is difficult to find the "strength adjustment lever'' of the machine. Its easy to locate. Just swing open the drip basket and u will find the lever, turn it left or right, or middle. it is at the rim of the water purifying disc which can be easily pulled out and pushed back in.I flushed out the machine 2 times before using it for the first time. I added water to the 3 mark of the water tank and used 2 slightly heaping scoops of coffee and medium strength setting. i got a delicious hot full mug of coffee. it uses less coffee than i did for my previous machine to get the same strength. It is fast, and turns off automatically when cycle is complete.It is a good machine and affordable and easy to maintain and keep clean, if u do not need a big batch of coffee. Try it. You won't regret.

I can't believe a company as good as Zojirushi would make something so defective. I'm not writing this review on one of these coffee makers but two of them. The first one leaked water and would not fully drain the reservoir. I bought a different brand and used that one for over a year. Then I decided to give this Zojirushi a second chance. The second one sprayed water from the vents on the top, leaked water out of ???? and did not drain the water reservoir. Please do not buy this. It will be a giant disappointment.

I try so hard to avoid buying anything that is "Made in China", but sadly you cannot get away from the biggest pollution that threats the well being of the humanity. "Made in China" means everything you pay with your hard earned money will turn into garbage...

I gave it a three star rating for the following reasons1. two prong plug. This would be a safety issue2. opening on top of pot doesn't allow hand to slip thru for easy cleaning3. The top part of pot has a silicon rubber seal that...well smells4. instructions not available in english5. when i requested , warranty information, i could not obtain any.I would have returned the product except my friend threw out the box.

Buying ZOJIRUSHI I'm believing that it is made in Japan because this is my preferable company. However, its done in China and it pops up many concerns. The main is that there is used several plastic parts that contacts with water and I don't feel confident that the plastics are the food grade.???If I knew, I wouldn't buy.

I like ZOJIRUSHI brand. I used to drink a lot of coffee everyday and I had a bigger coffee maker. But I don't drink much coffee anymore and this can make 5 cups. It is enough size for me now. It is good price. I like this stainless pot. I can take it to my work. It is from Japan and you need a converter ( 110v to 100v).

スレンレスポットが欲しかったのとコンパクトで場所をとらず濃さも選択できるので選びましたが、ポットの保温効果はまあ、こんなもんかという感じですが、いかんせん使いずらいです。コーヒーを器にそそぐ際ポタポタ漏れて（口の形状が悪いのか？）床を汚します、しかも全部出きらず結局ポットのフタを外すことに・・・また口が狭いのでとてもあらいずらいです。　私は手が小さい方なのでなんとか手を入れて洗えますがちょっと手の大きい人は柄つきの傾斜のあるブラシでないとちゃんと洗えないと思います。

とても使い勝手が良いコーヒーメーカーです。確かに他の方が書かれるように最後まで出すにはふたを回して外して注がないといけない点はありますが、最後に洗う時にどうせ外すので、あまり気になりません。ステンレスで保温もできる、持ち運びしやすい、コーヒー豆の味と香りもしっかり抽出してくれます。自分が今まで購入したコーヒーメーカーでは一番お気に入りです。あまり良くないとレビューされているのが結構いるのが少し不思議なほどです。

同じコーヒーメーカー二度目の購入です。私の希望はデカンタがガラスでなく保温性に優れている事。お水のタンク、コーヒーフィールターケース全て外して洗える事を考えると他探してもなかなかなく、壊れてしまったコーヒーメーカーの品番から探しました。前に買った時からもう６年くらい？経っていたのでもうないかなと思いきやamazonさんにあったのでホッとしました。衛生的で使いやすい私の押しの一品です。

コーヒーメーカーのガラスポットを2回も割ってしまったので、この商品を購入しました。温め機能がないので時間が経つとアツアツではではないが思ったより保温しています。ウォーターホルダーが取り外せるので周りに水が飛び散らないから安心。コーヒーの濃さも選べて前のメーカーよりコーヒーが美味しい。

流石は魔法瓶の会社象印さん、保温力が凄い！主人はコーヒーが出来た後テーブルに持って来るので本体から外します。なので保温性の良さそうな象印さんに決めましたが、今までもステンレスサーバーだったけど『もう全然違う！時間経っても温かいじゃなくて熱いもん』って大喜びです。値段もそんなに高くないし大満足です。ひとつ難を挙げるとしたら最後まで出そうとするとサーバーの天辺から漏れる事。蓋の開け閉めも今までのは手が痛くなる感じだったけど、これは楽々なので最後まで出し切りたかったら最後は蓋を開けてしまう事をお勧めします。
