Beware of rusting - don't use on Stainless Steel.
We started using this on our stainless steel dishwasher. As you might expect some water got on it at some point during the turning of it. Yesterday I went to turn it and noticed rust and a couple of small black spots where the magnet had been. I looked at the back of the magnet and saw that it appears to be muddled and is indeed starting to rust. I was able to get the rust off with Barkeepers Friend, but I now have a few small black spots where it appears that the magnet wore the stainless steel off. I am, needless to say, incredible unhappy.

Cute dishwasher sign that looks classy in my kitchen!
Cute dishwasher magnet in my favorite teal, turquoise beach color. Perfect size and very visible with a pretty, modern and tasteful design. Magnet is strong, and it sticks well to my stainless steel dishwasher, so it does take a second to lift and turn from clean to dirty. I followed the suggestion of inserting a piece of paper towel between the magnet and dishwasher so I can just slide it to turn and it works like a charm! I see how this could make a good gag gift for teenagers or even a husband who needs a little coaxing with the dishes. Lol. Love this so much and will definitely get more as holiday stocking stuffers.

Good buy
I bought this thinking that it would make my kids stop fighting about who's turn itvwas to do the dishes or empty the dishwasher. They can't remember to turn over this sign though, so I don't know what to do about that. Its a nice magnet, great idea if EVERYONE in the house remembers to turn it over...

I'm a huge Amazon buyer and I KNOW better, but I wasn't watching the size on this item. So look closely at the measurements - so you're not disappointed.Unfortunately, we can't use it because I have a vinyl door on my dishwasher and it won't stick. Bummer -It's cute, it fit into the stocking, and now it's on my fridge.

Exactly what I was looking for.
Helps a ton when you have lots of people in house, the dishwasher definitely gets emptied faster. As we see it all the time and then when on dirty kids are starting to load in dishwasher instead of leaving dishes in the sink. Small wins

This is a really nice and elegant looking magnet for the dishwasher. It's the perfect match for the color scheme in my kitchen. Even with a small piece of paper towel behind the magnet to make flipping it easier, it stays on the dishwasher very well.

This is the perfect kitchen helper to end any confusion about the contents of the dishwasher. I cannot tell you how many times my husband put away dirty (rinsed but not washed) dishes from the dishwasher. So easy, just flip it over to clean when you run the machine and flip it to dirty when you unload it!
