Q: Can the app track two people's usage? My wife and I want to share the Platinum. Can we both use the app to track our usage separately?

I just spoke with Philips Sonicare consumer support last night and I asked this very question. The answer is Yes. Each user would need to download the app on their own phone, and would use their own brush head. We use the Kikkerland animal toothbrush covers to keep our family's brush headed straight.

Q: Is the feedback about missed spots in real time? Kolibree only tells you where you tend to miss over a 7-day period

Real time as soon as you finish the two minute routine....it tells you where to "touch up" and tracks that event as well real time.

Q: Do you have to have the base with your toothbrush to get a true reading on your brushing?

no works with your iPhone. however sometimes you have to reset the brush by placing it on the base.

Q: What is the difference between the clean and deep clean modes?

According to the book Deep Clean provides an invigorating of deep massage to deliver an exceptionally clean experience.
