Are these mats too thick for a front loading frame?

I have used them in front loading frames and it fits but it is a tight fit. Putting any stress on the frame will pop the glass out so you have to handle carefully.

How do i put the mat to the backing? is there special glue for this? thanks

If you mean how do you attach the backing to the mat, you would generally use linen tape to create a hinge. You can find instructions if you Google "how to mount a picture on mat board".

How do i get just purple ones?
