Q: I need Tai Chi shoes for my beginners class. I am a woman and wear size 8.5 US. What will be the equivalent on these shoes?. Thanks!

I also wear size 8.5 women's , and I wear size 39 in Tai Chi shoes.

I ordered a size larger that my "usual" US size. Initially they fit a bit too snugly without socks (as I hoped), and stretched a bit with use for a better fit. still not useable with athletic socks. After 1 month, I am happy with them, as they pivot well on a smooth floor.They don't stretch a lot, so getting the right size is critical. They are not pointed like Bruce Lee's.

10 should fit you fine. I'm a size 11 and got an 11 in shoe and it fits me just right.

Q: I wear a size 42. what is the us equilivant for men's? i've seen other size charts that say a 42 would be an 8.5, but i don't see that as a choice.

Some charts that I have seen say that a size 42 is a size 8 and a size 43 is a size eight and a half to nine. Other charts say that a 42 is in I would recommend ordering a size bigger anyhow.
