great all around impact
This thing seems like a great value for the price. It sounds like it has come down a lot in price since it came out. I have the makita xdt19z and the makita XWT18Z mid torque impact wrench and this fit the niche right between the two perfectly, at the price of the smaller impact. The xdt19z works great for carpentry, deckboards, subflooring, stuff where i'm putting in a lot of wood screws that don't require much force. But there are plenty of wood screw applications where the xdti19z is totally lacking- ledger locks, or putting deckmates into hardwood fence boards/posts. But this thing blows any wood screws out of the water, and it does it with a nice smooth kind of torque. Comfy in the hand, not too heavy, significantly(way over a lb) less than the makita XWT18Z. So i will probably be grabbing this for almost all general purpose stuff, and i have no problem with it getting dirty or oily because it was such a spectacular deal! I'm really glad to have branched out from makita to metabo. Both seem to make great tools and i will be interested to see in ten years or so how they all hold up.

Compact size gets you in tough spots!
The Snap-on impact ratchet I was using to remove my lugs could not fit behind my rotor assembly to remove my caliper bracket. So I broke out this guy and thought to myself this probably will not release those 15 mm bolts that hold the bracket on as they have Loctite on them and are the original ones from being outside on the truck for 10 years. I was wrong, this little gun spun those off after three or four seconds of hitting it with the impact. Great for working on vehicles as it's basically the same size as the HTP impact drill. Very satisfied!

Very powerful for its size
I bought one of these for my own use several years ago and loved it so much I bought my son one for Christmas this year. More than enough power to handle normal household chores for car, gator, mower, etc. tires. It saves a lot of busted knuckles - worth every penny.
