Columbia Men's Penns Creek Ii Parka

For 46.00 it's a nice parka and a great buy! Not sure how warm it is now that we're past winter but it seems better insulated than I thought and it has the Omniheat feature which should add additional warmth without bulk. I've been disappointed with a lot Columbia's stuff lately with awkward sizing and the materials being cheaply made. But this coat was surprisingly really nice.Thankfully it is slimmer than I anticipated. It does have a slight belly bump but it isn't so bad actually. The profile is decently slim with enough room to layer...and to be honest layering will be needed anyway if it dips below 20F. I live in NYC and winters haven't been as cold as they used to be, so this should do fine here.But overall a very nice Parka. Plenty of pockets, nice zipper, decent size hood with nice fur trim. I mean seriously folks for 46.00 it's a steal!

5 Stars. I would not consider this jacket "light weight" - it is very substantial and when it arrived my husband even commented on how nice and heavy it was. Just right for cold, snowy days. We as a family are totally sold on the lining of these Columbia jackets and coats....Omni Heat. I have never had a more comfortable, warm jacket. Wish I had had it growing up in MN! We don't get much snow here in DE, but this will be his "go to" jacket for snow shoveling. All in all a great winter jacket.

I moved from New Mexico to Montana seven years ago and I've been been looking for the "silver bullet" of coats and this is it. It's super warm and wind-proof. It doesn't bunch up or restrict movement. Plenty of room in the arms for several layers. I size up to fit layers on my torso but its always the sleeves that limit my layering efforts. Not here. I can get a sweater and a puffer jacket under this parka no problem.Six pockets provide plenty if room for items and hands. I use the chest pockets for my hands and while it took some getting used to, I actually think it works better than waist pockets.I've bought three of these. Two for me and one for my girlfriend. All have performed amazingly. I have bought dozens of coats and jackets and this is by far my favorite of all time. If you're going to be out in subzero temperatures I highly recommend this parka.

Light weight (compared to a N-3b), the silver lining is AMAZING at keeping the right amount of heat in, deep hood, knit wrists, pockets are comfortable (not skin snagging) and the fur zips off if you want.Runs a little big, but not too bad.I truly love this coat. I am only sorry i waited so long to buy one.

To use every day

I live in Alaska, as you can tell .. the weather during the day is below -30 degrees. Now during the night its even worse, soo this jacket comes in clutch, i usually wear just a t-shirt under the jacket and it keeps me warm in all hours of the day ... 100% would recommend!

Warm enough for Minnesota winter and plenty of pocket space. Definitely a good purchase

Excelente chaqueta

I used this in Iqaluit, Canada during winter, it's NOT warm at all. I had to switch to my old and reliable parka. Winter in Iqaluit is very harsh -70 with wind chill. This is good for milder winter weather.

Wonderful coat, warm, durable and high quality.

Very comfy, very warm and I’m wearing this in a Winnipeg winter. Only complaint is the zipper kind of sucks. Have trouble zipping it up sometimes. Other than that, great coat
