Pepto-Bismol BXPB25 Tablets, Two Tablets per Pack, 25 Packs/Box

I used to buy Pepto-Bismol at Costco before each trip, but they no longer carry it. Thank you Amazon! One of the best travel suggestions for staying healthy when traveling is to pack 6 tablets per day of a trip abroad and chew two before each meal. They don't prevent every ailment, but they offer quite a bit of protection from gastric upsets which are all to frequent when traveling away from home. One still needs to rely on bottled water and cooked vegetables as well as fruit that you peel yourself, but this helps remind that giving up a few tempting food items is well worth staying well.

I always take this on a trip. We were on a cruise and Noro-virus broke out. I started my husband and I on preventative treatment with Peto. We never got sick, where others in our group were dropping like flies. It is also good for Montesumas's revenge. These are the reasons I purchase it. It has other everyday uses, of course, for stomach upset.

Great individual packets of 2 tablets each. Got these for my boyfriend before he went to Europe for two weeks. He sometimes gets heartburn and stomach aches when he eats new foods but he loves trying new things when he travels. He only takes a carry-on so the pepto liquid wasn't an option. They work really well and are very convenient. He's been using them since coming home too and it's so easy to just chew them and have quick relief.

Don't you hate it when the flight attendant say's "everyone please remain in your seat till the captain turns off the fasten seatbelt sign." Well, the thing was I was fine with sitting down until the captain deems it safe enough to stand but my colon thought otherwise. Then comes to the dilemma I hope nobody ever goes through in their life: evacuate in your seat or storm the bathroom and get arrested the second you land. The moral of the story is that if I would have had pepto bismal in my system​ this never would have happened.

Be warned the bismuth in this will turn your tongue dark black. Aside from making it look like you're dying of the plague, it works fine. The individually wrapped packets are very easy to throw into a bag in case you ever need to use a black tongue to get out of a meeting or uncomfortable social situation.

I like these tablets, because you never know when you will need them. They also don't go bad like the liquid. I like to take them with me when I travel, in my purse, or in the office. You never know when your going to need a relief. Emergencies happen when you least expect it. Specially with traveling you never know what different foods will do to you.

Sometimes I have a stomach of steel, sometimes it will be miserable if a cheese shred makes it into my salad accidentally, its so unpredictable. I bought these mainly for travel. I never check a bag, so my toiletry baggie is reserved for the necessities (and unfortunately not enough room for a bottle of pepto). These are perfect for travel, I keep the box in my travel backpack!

Just as advertised. These are extremely handy when you are on the go. Also they were a good price and I didn't have to search for them. We keep Pepto chewables on hand all the time. This make it even more convenient. Will buy again. I do think the box is a little large for the amount of packs. It could be half the size and still do the job. Will definitely order again.
