Magnus Leather Dog Collar 1" Leather with ID Plate (Large 14"-17" Hole Measurement, Black)

Looks really great! A friend of mine got one for my american bulldog but he quickly outgrew it. She got it when he was about 5 months and he is 8 months now and almost 90 lbs so i ordered a new one. Nice color (i got the red) and the leather feels good and strong. Doesn't look cheap at all. The name plate is riveted into the leather so no chance of losing a name tag. The print is nice and bold so you can see it easily. I dont know that i will use it for actually walking with his leash. I have a nylon collar i use for that which is softer. Not sure if he pulls with this how it's going to feel on his neck since it isn't padded or anything. He's still a puppy so he isn't fully focused not to still pull every once in a while. Otherwise i think it looks really good and the seller was very responsive. I would recommend.

Fantastic! Came on time AND it's better than I expected. The leather is great quality. When I ordered I accidently got a XL instead of the XXL for my alaskan malamute. I emailed the company and their response was almost instant and courteous. I highly recommend this collar. We got the red and it looks great with her tags and against her fluffy fur. Unfortunately after 1 week she got spunky on her tie and and when she hit the end of her cord the metal clasps bent completely and she was free. We caught her again no problem and bent them back but it's strictly harness from now on. Still a nice collar though and we will continue using it.

The collar looks great. It was a bit stiff when it came in, and scratched quickly when my dog ached his neck. Additionally, it did take considerably longer to receive than what was projected... However, I did order it right before Christmas, so that could have been the problem. Despite these things I would definitely recommend this collar. As far as the scratching and stiffness, I broke it in by flexing it, and put a couple layers of shoe polish on it and it looks fantastic. If you have a general idea how to take care of leather, none of the issues are a deal breaker, and for $30, its totally worth it.

Label is nice. Leather seems sturdy, but the finish is not high quality.For an in-between size dog, these things are LONG and my dog managed to chew up the end. I had to trim it back. There is no retaining loop for the excess leather. The surface finish on the leather appears dry and cracked despite having very little wear. It still seems supple and sturdy, but finish looks like junk.

Looks good on my 135lb German Shepherd. I bought the largest size for him and I think it would have been better if it was slightly thicker. But, for the most part, it is good quality letter and the name plate is clear and easy to read. It should last a long time and was delivered in a timely manner. Ordering the personalized engraving was easy. I would buy again.

The collar is great, I get compliments on it all the time! Beautiful quality for a custom leather collar for the price. But, the real 5 star earner is the customer service. I emailed the seller because I was moving and didn't realize I cut the purchase to close and I should have sent it to the new address. Usually, you would have to go through Amazon to change the shipping address, but instead she just sent the collar out a few days early so I would get it in time! So sweet!

I got an XL collar for my dog, whose neck is exactly 17" at the slimmest portion (XL size starts at 17"). I'm not happy:1. Collar received came quite loose for her neck, but within a couple of weeks the leather stretched so much that the collar slipped out of my dog's neck at the tightest hole. The leather could be thicker to make this stretching less of a problem. Else, there should be stitching to help keep its original size and shape (would be a different look which I don't mind considering the issue).2. No loop to hold down the extra bit of collar, so if your dog's neck is the smallest for the dimension of collar specified then there will be a flap of leather that has nowhere to go. It will eventually curl and look awful.3. I'm contemplating taking the beat up collar to a cobbler to get tighter holes punched and the extra length cut off OR shop for another collar. What a waste of money.

I love this collar! It’s lightweight, yet durable. My Golden has a German Shepherd best friend, and the German Shepherd’s favorite game to play is “Let’s pull Scout around the yard.” This collar stood up to many, many backyard play dates and has stretched out only just a little bit over the past two years. Great job!
