It's a very usable low cost dipstick
It's close enough when you get it, and the numbers can be tough to read, but normal dipsticks don't even have numbers.Easiest way to be confident in the readings is to carefully fill oil until the electronic gage says its full.Set the top slider to where it is suggested and check the level.You can then fine adjust the top slider to adjust the dipstick up or down so that full level is just where you want it to be - whatever number that is doesn't really matter!Now anytime you use it you can see if it is full or how far from full it is... calibrated!
