Clock Improved my Sleep Quality and Wakes Me Up with Calming, yet Exciting Sounds
I've had this alarm clock since December, and it is amazing! I love the many choices one has for the noise it uses to wake you up, and I find Lofie's two-step alarm to be really effective in waking me up and starting the day with a bit more energy than usual. Basically, it begins with a more calming sound (I use something that sounds like temple bells) to rouse you from sleep, then waits nine minutes and follows with a more energetic sound (I use something harder to describe, like an instrumental ringtone?) to get you up and out of the bed with energy. While other alarms have had me feeling stressed out or anxious, and then begin the day by making me look at my phone (as a very distracted person, this invariably leads to ten minutes or more on some sort of social media or stressing about emails), Loftie's eliminates the distractions and provides a clear, calming start to the day. I love how you can adjust the brightness of the night light and interface in "settings,"(originally, it was far too bright for me at night), and you can also adjust the volume of the alarms. But what has really made this clock worth the slightly steep price is the before-bed options. The clock has guided meditations, breathwork, and even a few stories. I personally use the meditations for each weekday, though my favorite is Wednesday's. Each meditation is recorded by professionals that have calming voices, and they make everything simple to understand. They help me worry less and relax more when sleeping. They even have white noise and other background sounds to help drown out unsavory noises at night. In March, I lived in a rental right next to a busy highway, and this clock LITERALLY SAVED MY SLEEP. If it weren't for the "Red Noise" I played from the clock, I wouldn't have slept more than 4 hours a night. The sounds are all really quality, and I can also play white noise from my phone through the bluetooth function. I also like the "Snowing Forest" and "Redwood" recordings, especially for when others are snoring loudly. The only downsides I've noticed for this clock are that it ocassionaly (twice a month or so) doesn't play the alarm, or I could just be sleeping through it. It also begins the two step alarm right when you set the time of the alarm, so you'll likely only be woken up fully 9 minutes after the time you input (but it's easy to work around that once you know~) I also do wish it had a feature to automatically turn off the interface at a given time, but you can easily do that manually by pressing down on the long button. These quips are rarely a concern for me, though. Overall, this clock has elevated my sleep to a new level. I really have gotten a lot out of it! I'm calmer, more rested, and more relaxed at night from the meditations and calming alarm system, all of which not needing a phone. I recommend over all things I have purchased (aside from maybe a specific 3D printer) to buy this alarm clock; it will change your sleep life for the better!

Exactly what I was looking for
My Lottie clock is fantastic! I was frustrated with how much I was using my phone before bed and first thing in the morning. I was using Spotify to to play waves when asleep and my phone alarm daily which led to immediately being on my phone and checking all notifications. I already kept my phone out of reach from the bed butl was ready to take another step and not rely on it for these things at all anymore. That’s where Loftie comes in! I did some research comparing Loftie and Hatch. I had actually heard a lot more about hatch and the sunrise feature however I appreciated the simplicity of Lottie and ability to use it without an app. Plus it still had a light that can go on with your alarm. So far I am loving it and in the past few days of using it I have successfully gotten out of bed without snoozing or setting multiple alarms. I am getting used to the two phase alarm as that’s new to me but so far it seems to be working. I also love the ocean reef sound and set the sleep timer to play for a couple hours. There are many other features which I haven’t explored yet but looking forward to doing the meditations and breath work. Overall I highly recommend it. The simple design and ease of use is fantastic. I got the white top version but may exchange it for the red light/chrome too version which is currently only available on the website.

Overpriced unreliable tech and lies from Loftie Support
I wanted to love this clock based on the many good reviews and beautiful minimal aesthetics of the clock, but unfortunately it is a grossly overpriced piece of cheap technology made to break just outside of the warranty period, and Loftie's Support department will do nothing to help you. I purchased my clock in November of 2022, and it was fine for about 6 months. At that point, it began losing time and disconnecting from my wifi about once every week or two. Annoying, but not a deal breaker for me. September rolled around around, and it began losing time constantly (reconnecting the clock to the wifi every day or every other day). For a $150 clock this is completely unacceptable and unsustainable, so I reached out to their Support email (9/7/2023) for assistance. After several weeks of back and forth troubleshooting (just about the entire month of September), their support rep Kelvin promised me on 9/29/2023 to send me a replacement Loftie clock when they "received new stock" in October... ...Except they never sent the replacement clock. On 2/19/2024 my Loftie clock finally died completely (cannot even reconnect it to my phone - it just sits stuck on "wifi cannot connect" and "go to app to set up" screens and can never move farther) - it is now a $150 paperweight. I reached back out to Loftie's support email explaining the situation, and mentioning that I had never been sent my promised replacement. Kelvin responded back on 2/20/2024 saying he was sorry, and would ensure that a replacement clock was sent out that same day. I requested they provided me with the tracking number to not have a repeat of my never-sent replacement in October, and Kelvin assured me that I would get it. It is now 2/26/2024, and I still do not have my replacement clock. I've been trying to get an update from Loftie's Support team via the email chain I've had, and they are completely ignoring me and no longer responding to my correspondence. I've emailed them last week and today, and have also reached out via their website's Chat feature to no avail. I can only suspect that there was never any intention to send me a replacement, because they have flat out lied to me about it twice and now will just not acknowledge me at all this time around. This is an utterly deplorable business model and completely unacceptable customer service. If this were a normally priced alarm clock, I'd just eat the loss and move along. However, Loftie wants you to pay a premium for a product that they claim is of a high quality and that if you do have an issue, they'll honor their warranty - this is not the case. I was under warranty and they lied about sending me a replacement after a solid month of unresolved troubleshooting, and now have fed me a line again about a replacement they never intended to send out (likely because they purposely blew me off until I was outside of my warranty window). Do not purchase products from this company. The products are cheap and unreliable, and the support not any help either.

Life changing Alarm Clock, so much more than a device to wake you up!
If there's anything in this world that could be considered a "necessary evil" it's the bedside alarm clock. I personally HATE waking up to either the radio or that nasty incessant beeping. People hate these devices so much that there have even been variations on them that allowed the user to throw it across the room in order to turn it off. That said, with the advent of the cell phone innovation in this area has pretty much ended. Enter the Loftie Clock. This beautifully minimalist alarm clock is life changing. The whole experience will make your day better. First, there's the two stage alarm. One to lightly rouse you, one to signal you to wake up. Snoozing the alarm is as intuitive as any other alarm clock (just hit the big wide button). So is ending the alarm sequence. The alarm tones are beautiful, and non-jarring. They will wake you up without making you mad. Then there's the bedtime experience. Several types of noise are provided (white, brown, etc) as well as soundscapes such as a beach or crickets. Once again, all are painstakingly crafted, not just "recorded" and the sound quality is amazing. If I had one complaint it's that the speaker that is built into these clocks can't handle the depth of the sounds. It does the job to play the sounds, but loud volumes can make the speaker squeak. That said, I like the clock so much I've bought them for the entire family.

Honestly hate how good it is.
$200 for a clock is ridiculous. It's a box that keeps time and makes a loud noise when you want it to. It doesn't need Internet, it doesn't need a light, and it definitely doesn't need a paid subscription. But if any clock can justify those things (okay, not the subscription), it's this one. I sleep through my phone alarms so often, I'm not convinced they even go off. My previous alarm clock had a vibrating puck and a buzzer loud enough to wake the dead, and it was less than $40. This clock is just as effective at getting me out of bed, but it's so much more pleasant in doing so. The sounds are really, really good, and there are a lot to choose from. Hearing them is the reward for waking up and going to bed on time, and it's a surprisingly effective motivator. I have just one complaint. The light doesn't really work for navigating a room because it's not bright or diffuse enough. Aside from that, it works well IF you don't mind setting up an account (maybe with a junk email). I would also wait to download ANY clock updates, because Loftie can paywall any currently-available feature at any time with no warning. This clock makes putting my phone away to sleep and waking up to an alarm a joy. I sound like a shill for saying that, and I hate sounding like a shill. But it's true. That's how much I love this clock, as expensive and overdesigned as it is.

Sleek, elegant, easy to use!
I recently aquired a Loftie alarm clock. The initial setup was very simple, downloaded the app (which is not necessary for basic use after the setup has been completed) and connected to my Wi-Fi. The modern sleek design not only stands out, but allows the clock to be unobtrusive wherever you use it. It has the option for a 12 or 24 hour display, with an adjustable built-in nightlight on the base. The clockface can also be placed in, and out of, blackout mode at night with the simple push of a button. Multiple alarms can be programmed for single, daily or weekly settings. A multitude of alarm options allows for the gradual increase in sound for the initial and snooze alarms for a calm awakening experience. The snooze alarm can be set for a 3, 6 or 9 minute delay for those days you need a little extra time to wake up. My favorite feature is the ability to pair the clock with my phone and use the clock as a Bluetooth speaker. With a Loftie+ subscription, there are many other features to discover. It would appear that the designers really put a lot of effort into making this the last alarm clock you will purchase. Just buy it!! You won't be sorry!

Very expensive, some rudimentary features tied to a subscription service
I’m a light sleeper who has been looking for a modern nightstand alarm clock to replace the Amazon Echo Show I’ve been using for a few years. The Echo Show is terrible as an alarm clock. Loftie tries hard to fullfill this role, but misses on a few key points. Loftie hardware is extremely basic, the clock itself is a lightweight acrylic shell with a few buttons, a tiny (maybe 2”) display, and a night light. It also has a very low quality speaker for playing sleep sounds and alarms. It’s remarkable that it sells for $149 (originally $199) when it costs maybe $25 to manufacture. Loftie is well thought out for sleepers, the display has auto brightness, and if that’s still too bright at night there is a blackout mode that can be activated by holding a button and the display will go completely dark until an alarm goes off or you wake it by pressing a button. Interestingly there is a “red screen” option for the clock that changes the clock display to red which is shown to be easier to sleep with, however I wasn’t able to try this since Loftie ties the use of a red clock display to their Loftie+ service subscription. Yes, you read that right… the $149 alarm clock requires a $50 a year subscription to have the clock change the color to red… which is pretty outrageous. Loftie has built in sleep sounds, but only a handful of white noise and nature options, everything else requires the previously mentioned service subscription. Loftie doesn’t work with any of the streaming services you are already paying for. Sorry people already shelling out for Spotify, Audible, Tidal, Apple Music, etc…. Loftie won’t work with any of those services but they are happy to sell you their own completely separate service for extra money. Loftie has no home automation integration… unlike an Amazon, Apple or Google device it isn’t going to control anything else in your house like lights, ceiling fans or door locks. Lofties mission is to help you sleep better at night, and it is able to do this, but at an eye watering price point… and you have to give up a lot of capability that other devices that cost much less offer. At a minimum, Loftie should introduce a newer version of their aging hardware that is substantially upgraded with a better display (OLED?), a faster CPU (it is quite pokey), and a much better speaker. It will be hard for many people to justify the $150 plus subscription Loftie when an Amazon Show is $79 and has vastly superior hardware. With the platinum pricing of Loftie, more standard features should be included, including more sleep sounds, and get rid of the need for a subscription to get a red clock display. All in all this device, for people who really desire the sleep capabilities, MIGHT be worth the asking price, but Loftie could keep their target customers and sell to more consumers if they offered a better value proposition.

Sleek and compact
I’m really enjoying my Loftie clock! I love that it has so many white noise options and I also love the meditation, breath work and classical music options. I also own a hatch restore and the Loftie has way more options for sounds compared to the hatch. I’ve been listening to the music while reading at night as a bedtime routine and it’s helped me relax. I like that I can use the buttons manually so that I can set the alarm and white noise without my phone. It’s also small so perfect to travel with for a sound machine when traveling for myself and my kids. I had previously been taking my hatch restore which is large and clunky. The only thing I don’t love about the Loftie is I wish the night light function could be brighter. I liked to use my hatch as a soft reading light at night vs my bedside lamp and it’s hard to do that with the Loftie but I am happy with its other features that I can overlook this.

The cheapest quality ever. Does not work. Money was wasted on Marketing. Should have better been spent on the product.
