My beautiful darling STUBBORN 9 year old has loudly vocalized that she doesn’t want to go through puberty and boobs are annoyingWhile I don’t necessarily disagree with the sentiment, the reality is that the girl is developing and getting a bit ‘pointy’ in cold weather. It time for a training bra!She very much didn’t want to wear one and had a long list of requirements if she was even going to attempt it: extremely comfortable, non restrictive, not frilly, practical, functional, not fussy or needing to be fussed with.She is very athletic and didn’t want anything that would in any way interfere or distract from her sports practice.After reviewing several, she agreed on these. She is 9 year old, very slender, weighs about 70lbs. The medium fits well with some room to grow.Per her, they are comfortable and unfussy. She forgets she’s wearing it.Reluctantly, she admits that she actually feels MORE comfortable wearing it when running or jumping as it gives her some mild chest support.Whoohoo!A win for the inevitability of oncoming puberty!While her body changes are going to happen, they don’t HAVE to be so feared - we can have fun with them too!

I purchased this 3-pack set of Maidenform Girls' Crop Bra, in a size M for my 9.5-year-old daughter who is beginning to develop. She naturally feels self-conscious especially when wearing thin tops and I purchased these to help ease her discomfort and give her some confidence. The product has exceeded my expectations. My daughter was initially reluctant to try them on, feeling awkward and self-conscious but after having a gentle talk with her, reaffirming that all of this is natural and part of maturing into a young woman, she relented and tried one on. The sizing (M) was perfect for her (she weighs about 80 pounds) and her feedback was that the material was soft and fit comfortably. I am pleased and hope these will allow her to have more poise and confidence as she starts the new school year.

These are very soft and the fit for her weight is perfect. The only issue is that the fabric is very thin and the straps also are thin, tending to cut in a bit. There isn't an elastic band on the bottom and the bra can slide up if the fit is not perfect.

These crop bras are perfect for my 9 year old daughter. She was quite embarrassed when I first brought up the subject that she needs to wear them. Now I don't think she likes to go without them. She told me she forgets she's wearing one and almost got into the shower the other night with one on.They wash nicely but I don't dry them, so I can't say how they hold up to the heat. The colors we have are really cute and don't seem to fade too much from washing.My daughter said these are comfortable and now doesn't get so shy when talking about the fact that she's 'growing up'. I wish I was my own mother back in the late 70's - early 80's to help me out with this kind of thing. Pre-puberty is the worst and I can't imagine how it is for kids now.I recommend these crop bras to anyone who has a 'budding' girl in the house. They're not too bra-like so hopefully the boys at school will ignore them and not tease relentlessly.

It is very hard to find appropriate bras for young girls - really who thinks they need a padded bra when they are pre-teens. These fit nicely, are plain, do not show through tops and dresses. They are cotton so now skin irritations. They wash up very nicely (no shrinkage - though I do not dry them in a dryer). This style is difficult to find in most stores. We did go to the store to try them on, but the store only had 1 available so we bought them from Amazon in a three pack.

I bought these for my ten year old daughter who just started to need some coverage for modesty under her clothes this year but is too young for a regular bra. She had been wearing camisoles, but with the warmer weather we switched to these so that she would not always have a double layer of clothing. The sizing was perfect, and she was able to put them on and adjust them herself with no help. They are very comfortable, just right for a little girl who is somewhere between undershirts and a bra, or even an older girl who does not need a lot of support.

I bought this for my 9 year old who is very slip and just beginning to develop, so she doesn't have anything that actually needs support. However, I thought that these would be nice to help smooth her shape out when wearing t-shirts as well as introduce her to bras in general. Needless to say, she was ecstatic to receive them and never forgets to put one on! I like that the material is soft and like a t-shirt that she can just slip in. And though the colors are bright, it was not something that I could see through her shirts. I also don't see the outline through her clothes. Granted, it is winter and she is wearing several layers for warmth .he quality is strong enough that she should outgrow them before they begin to fall apart. I am happy and she has asked me to order her some more in other colors.

These are a decent introductory set and my daughter says they are comfortable. However they are extremely thin. It’s just a single layer of fabric that is about the same material and thickness of a kids’ cotton pair of underwear. Will need something more substantial as she grows. My daughter is ten years old, but very petite and thin. I got her a size small and they fit fine.

my daughter loved them (on day 1). now she's already tired of wearing bras. hahahathey fit her small frame just fine. she's 9 years old, wears a size 7.
