I bought this to replace an "AEROFRESH Toilet brush and holder set" bought less than 2 years ago - the metal parts rapidly became rusty and discoloured, and last week the handle broke off at the screw-in point. I chose the Mr. Siga product because it has no metal parts, a real bristle brush and I like the idea of the opening and closing lid. This brush feels much more robust than the Chinese rubbish I had before. The handle is solid, heavy duty plastic and there are no metal parts to rust. The brush is a proper bristle brush rather than the rubbish rubber 'probes' that my old brush had, so it works great at removing limescale marks (we are in a hard water area). It also has the same kind of 'air venting' as many other products on Amazon - so no worries about smell from wet and mouldering brush. It looks good too. So far I am very happy with this product. My only reservation is whether the doors will continue to open and close after extended usage. If so I will upgrade to 5 stars.

This is a brilliant brush & container after having a silicone one which I found never cleaned the loo properly so was useless my loo has never been so clean apart from when new of course.. I was dubious of paying the higher price but I fully recommend & am glad I did....

This is a very substantial brush and good at cleaning, especially in hard water areas prone to limescale build up. the mechanism for opening and closing on the base unit looks a little delicate and does not always open fully and requires a little tap with the brush to fully open, hence only 4 stars, but is generally good quality and looks good too.

This toilet brush & bowl is very well made it is stylish very neat as well as being quite attractive to look at as far as toilet brushes go and works as advertised it sits nicely in the provided brush bowl holder and the two lids on top of the bowl open when you remove the toilet brush by a cantilever mechanism and when you replace the brush the two doors on the bowl shut to make a rather neat setup.I read reviews where buyers stated it does not work well or the doors wont close there is a user video showing this particular malfunction one of my toilet bowls didn't work too good either the doors would not close they just staid open you just have to slide the mechanism past the clip on the bowl holder then it clicks into place and it works as intended this is neither the sellers problem but rather the item being sent from the factory in this condition or maybe it got bashed in transit or it ended up upside down and the mechanism just got stuck.I was able to fix it and it has performed as advertised I highly recommend this toilet brush and bowl combo as you could not get any better for the money paid.Highly recommended 5 stars.

Just an average toilet brush - unless your toilet bowl has the perfect shape for the brush then it’s not going to clean properly. I knew my toilet bowl didn’t go well with this brush shape but I just needed one quick for the time-being until I found a better one.My biggest issue though was the stand - I wanted a stand that would let air in and allow the brush and the stand itself to dry properly, but every single time i’d open it to use it, there was still liquid pooled at the bottom that never dried. My assumption was maybe it wasn’t getting adequate airflow but there’s not much I can do considering my bathroom doesn’t have a window. I tried moving the stand to my bedroom with my window open to see if it would dry better but that didn’t seem to do much. Maybe this product would dry better in another home with the proper conditions for it idk.Either way I really don’t see why this brush is so expensive, just get a cheap round toilet brush and it’d be the same quality. The main selling point is the stand that allows airflow, and if it works for you then it would be worth it :)
