I'm glad that the magnet is so strong, but I am having a hard time moving or removing it. Any suggestions?

Suggestion is to place a strip of thin fabric beneath it, it should still hold in place well. Use the ends of the strip to lift an edge when done.

I see the 1/4" marking but, does it have the "scant" 1/4" marking?

You could set it at 1/4" and then move your needle one click to the right to get a scant 1/4".

Does the magnet mess with computerized sewing/embroidery machines?

The seam guide has a strong magnet to hold guide in place. Is there any issue with regards to a computerized Bernina 770QE??

According to the company there isn’t any problem. I have 3 Pfaff. Computerized machines. One is new, two are around 30 years old, and I also have a computerized Janome. I have used this product on every one of them and two of the machines. I just leave it on all the time. I have had absolutely no problem. This is quite a gadget. It works so well well worth the money.
