I have purchased multiple units of the Goodland Under Cabinet Lighting 80 LED Closet Light over time because they consistently perform so well. The motion sensor sensitivity is excellent—it turns on reliably as soon as you approach, providing immediate illumination without any delay. The battery life after a full charge is impressive, lasting long enough to keep my cabinets and pantry well-lit without frequent recharging. I use these lights both under and inside my cabinets, which makes it so easy to see everything inside my pantry and cabinets, especially in darker areas. Installation is straightforward with the magnetic strips, and the light quality is great with adjustable brightness and color temperature options. These lights have become an essential part of my kitchen setup, and I will definitely keep purchasing them whenever they go on sale. Highly recommend!

I have put them under my counters and my pantry!!! I have purchase these light three times.. The Goodland Under Cabinet Lighting with 80 LEDs works great. It gives off plenty of light and was easy to install. Perfect for under cabinets, closets, or darker areas in the house. The motion sensor works well, and the rechargeable feature is very convenient. Happy with this purchase! Just purchased two more for my pantry..

I like these lights for under-cabinet use. Nice and bright for working and offers different colors and brightness for ambiance. I get about two years out of them before they stop charging. But I buy replacements because they're nice and they're ahhordable. Packs of 3.

I put two of these into 6ft tall display cabinets, and one in a closet. - In the display cabinets, the magnets in the lights stuck directly to the underside of the steel tops of the cabinets, which made installation absolutely trivial. The cabinets are about 30 inches wide and 12 inches deep, with glass shelves, and they are lit up very attractively with these lights. - My display cabinets have glass doors and glass sides, but the lights only come on when you open the doors, not when you just walk by the cabinets: this is perfect for me. I'm guessing this means the motion-detecting signal doesn't transmit through glass, but that's just a guess. - In the closet, just one of these is a little dim. The door is 8ft tall, and the lowest I could put it was a little above the door, and the closet is not small, around 3.5ft wide and 2.5 ft deep, with of course a lot of stuff in it, so just one of these is better than nothing but it doesn't fill the closet with light. Two would probably do a good job, but I'm not going to purchase another 3-pack just to get one more. Installation in the closet was pretty easy as well, turns out there are two magnets in the light so I just attached two steel right-angle brackets directly above the door (in the correct positions for the magnets) then just stuck the light on the brackets. - In both cases, the motion sensors detect the movement of the doors, so the lights come on when I open the doors just like I wanted. They stay on for maybe 30 seconds after motion ceases (after the door closes). - Charging is micro USB: pull a light down, plug it in, a red light comes on to show it's charging but not charged up, when charging is complete the light turns green. Doesn't get any simpler. - The light does not operate while charging, so you can't install these with an always-connected charger, you must let them run on battery and charge when needed.

We live in our fifth wheel and travel full time. I have a nice big pantry, but it was dark in the back corners and I had to drag things out to find what I wanted. Bought some little lights that ran on AA batteries. They did ok, but the light still couldn't reach all corners of each shelf and the batteries didn't last long as they didn't have the motion detector and I would forget to turn them off Saw these on Amazon and decided to give them a try. They came quickly and were already charged, but I plugged them in to make sure they had a full charge, installed them (easy peasy) and what a difference they make! I can now see everything in my pantry and after four weeks, they are still going strong on the initial charge. They are set on motion detect, so they don't turn on unless I open the pantry doors, but I go in and out of the pantry multiple times per day and they are still very bright! Very pleased with these lights so far and highly recommend them if you need to shed more light on something! UPDATE: Bought these almost a year ago and am still beyond pleased with them. I had several other cabinets I needed to illuminate and saw a set of 5 of a different brand. Was I ever sorry I bought those! They don't stay bright for more than a week on the motion sensor, whereas, this brand stays bright for a couple of months or more on the motion sensor. I decided to purchase more of these to replace the crap ones! If you need reliable and bright lights to illuminate dark closets, cabinets or pantries, these are the ones you want! UPDATE 7-16-2023: I have now had the initial set for over two years and they are still working as well as they did when I first purchased them. I just bought a third set of 3 to add inside more cabinets. Some reviews on here state that they don't last long but it may be that they are using them where they turn on more frequently such as under counter lights. Mine are strictly used in my pantry and closets where they only turn on when I open a door, then they automatically turn off 20 seconds later. I may only need to charge them every 2-3 months with that type of usage.

I purchased the 3 pack of these lights and placed them in dark spots around the house. One is under a kitchen cabinet about the space where I prep food for cooking and this one gets the most use. One is in a closet that has no light in it, and the other is inside a base kitchen cabinet where groceries are stored. A thin metal adhesive backed strip is attached to the surface where the light is needed, and then the light itself is magnetic so that you can easily remove the light from the metal strip to recharge the battery in it. Each light comes with it's own charger. They are very bright, have settings to select different light temperatures, and are motion activated. Two shortcomings - If the lights are placed in an area where they get a lot of use, such as my under cabinet food prep space, they constantly require recharging. Secondly, the magnet that holds the light in place is not very strong. One which I placed inside a kitchen base cabinet had to be attached vertically to the back side of the space between the two cabinet door openings. It often slides down and falls off of the metal strip because the magnet is not strong enough to hold it in place. These would be better if the battery would hold a charge longer and the magnets were stronger.

These are amazing. I use in our cabinets in the camper. Bought another set. Stays charged for along time. Different brightness and easy to install, just a magnet. Easy to remove and charge.

I spent a couple hours researching for the best possible unit before deciding to purchase a pair of the Goodland 160 led motion sensor lights. I installed them a week ago. Here are my thoughts. - Customer Service: Before installation I sent the manufacturer’s customer service a question (via the Amazon web page link to the manufacturer). In less than 24 hours I received a thorough, and thoughtful answer - well done! (Them claim excellent customer service and I believe it.) Size: The units are long (15.4”) and very thin, less than 1/2” thick (0.43”). That’s excellent. The length spreads the light out, and thin means they don’t get in the way of what is on the shelf beneath. - Light intensity I installed the two units, one each beneath the two rotating shelves of the turntable under the kitchen counter. When they activate, the amount of light in the enclosed space is more than enough. I tested them also under two 20” x 32” pantry shelves (but did not install). Also more than enough light. One unit per shelf is the right amount if the shelves are congested with stuff. Note: even though these units throw more light (lumens) than most every other battery powered unit, the light intensity of one unit is only marginal so as to light up multiple shelves at the same time, or to light up a moderate sized closet space. - Motion sensitivity! Works great under the turntable shelves. Activates when it should when there is minor movement of anything. Same held true when tested (but not installed) under the pantry shelves). As you approach or reach under the shelf, the light turns on. Don’t install way in the back of a shelf unless you want to hinder/reduce the motion sensitivity. Installation time and effort - Super easy. The installation time was approximately 1 minute each. The time spent with a tape measure to ensure they were best positioned was also about 1 minute each. Peel the liner off the metal strip. Position metal strip and press it to the surface. - done. The light attaches very easily, magnetically, without fuss. Light removes very easily without fuss for recharging. Recharging: - 3600 mah battery power….. this is extremely important feature compared to most/all other competitors from what I could see in my research. Means recharging less frequently, and that the units can support a heavier duty lighting intensity load on the battery. The enclosed USB cable is short, but recharging is easy and the charging status indicator is easy to see. (No charger is included, but any type of usb charger works fine). Durability: - Aluminum case is strong, stiff, rugged. Clear polycarbonate plastic covers the LED’s. Polycarbonate is a rugged plastic. Overall, I’m happy with the ruggedness. - Other ‘nice to have’ features: The light intensity and color tone function is easy to use. By holding down a button the light intensity will go up and down from min to max. Reducing the intensity increases the time between rechargings. I plan to buy more of these.

The adhesive on the metal mounting strip is VERY strong and the strip itself is quite thin. Which means that if you want to move it later, forget about it! I ended up using a thin prybar to remove the metal strip, which bent it beyond use. Used two small mending plates in the new location. So all's well that ends well. The light itself is perfectly fine. Bright enough to light up my small closet and the motion sensor and subsequent shut-off timer work as expected. I didn't try the "night mode".

They are pricy, but we hope that the quality is there. Purchased because; they are of the right size, have that motion sensing required for inside the cabinets, and are USB rechargeable. Concern about the strength of the magnet that allows for removal/recharge... However they stayed in place on fairly rough roads over several days travel. Will see how long they last.
