When plugging the first cable in the amount of static being produced was horrendous to the point that it completely masked any other sound. In the hope this was a one off I tried the other cable and sadly that was the same. For the sake of complete testing I tried these cables with two separate guitars (both Ibanez RGs), on a Focusrite Scarlet Solo and two separate amps (a Marshall DSL20H, and MG100DFX) . I also tried using these to connect a variety of foot pedals to the amps, monitors to the interface, and the interface to the amps. In all cases a horrendous amount of static was being produced that made the cables completely unusable.To add insult to injury when first taking the cables out of the packet the covers for the base of the jacks were loose and needed tightening as some looked close to falling off.Over all I'd say AVOID THESE CABLES, I will be looking to return these for a refund and purchasing something else in replacement.
