I bought this for a regular customer at the waffle house . He is a veteran of the marines and comes in everyday. His wife and him always give us a card around Christmas with money in it and birthday s too . I wanted to do something for him when I realized his watch bad velcro was wearing out . I got him this and he seems to love it

I had some miltary watchbands from when I had a brother in law in the service. He sent me some one time from his Miltary supply shop when he could get them. So that company went out of business and I ran out of watchbands so the search was on to find something that would work for me. I wear my watch on the bottom side of my wrist so I needed and band that would cover that watch face and would get it up off my wrist. This watchband is really good for what i needed it for it worked for me on both counts so I ordered a few so I would have some on hand. These are great for me but may not be for everyone to take that in mind. Most folks don't like that it can be pulled off with a lot of pulling but it is better to have it come off than to have your hand get caught in something that you wished it did and it didn't. I like them just fine and will order more as I need them.

Great watch but too small in width for my use. I was going to use this strap for a Luminox brand watch.

I used this style of watch band when I was young soldier. As a soldier, this watch band style provided some protection to your time piece, but our primary use was to reduce possible glare that would give away your position. As a civilian, I bought this item, partially for nostalgia, but also due to the fact that I'd just lost a watch face to a door knob, which broke the watch's face. This item is not for big bling watches, but works best for smaller watches. The design allows for the user to use the cover piece for protection, or the user can fold it back to appear like a normal watch band. It is not a designer watch band, but works better as a utilitarian watch band for sports and manual activities. It can protect against low impacts and is better than nothing.

Different looking. I never had a military watch band. It seems other watch bands are getting shorter by the year. What made me buy this is my large wrist: 9" around. Almost every other band is too short except the leather ones,...and they are not good for a sports watch. Plenty of room here and the Velcro type fastener is quick and sure. Actually I get good comments on this strap. Some people ask if my black band is for making a political statement. I just say it's cool Daddy-O. It would be perfect if I were a Shark or a Jet, dancing thru the streets of New York City. :) I perspire A LOT here in Houston area, but that does not seem to affect this watchband. The band does get wet with sweat on the underside. I just let it dry at night and weekly wash it off with mild soap. I don't yet know what will happen in the swimming pool. Update 11/20/2018 The description says the band material is nylon in one place, and polyester in another: two quite different materials. Whatever it is, after a couple of months, my band began to smell. The smell was fairly strong and probably due to my perspiration. (That's embarrassing. ) I tried spraying it with Lysol to disinfect it. I felt very clean for a while but the smell came back. Febreze did a better job but it looks like weekly deodorizing will be necessary in my case, to get rid of the ripe smell. However, I won't let this problem change my 4* rating.

This doesn't work for smartwatches and watch with straps. There's no slit in the band to put the watch straps through. Instead, the watch has to be fixed to this band. Disappointed that these details are not mentioned in the product description.

Been wearing this non stop. Only take off to wash and sleep. Kept my fathers watch, who is no longer with us, safe and secure. I also am a budding airsoft player and so it is regularly put into dense forests and muddy terrain. Exceptional pleased with this product. Thankyou.

These are hard to find. Great quality, but not quite as wide as the ones that I used to use in the army. Velcro works great and overall a good quality item. Pricing is good as well.

The cover band is good the Velcro is not touch band and cover opens and have had watch band fall off a couple of times
