Easy Install
Received and error message from my 2008 Chevy Impala about reduced engine power. I checked with an OBD code reader and found out the gas pedal could be the culprit. Fortunately, it was an easy repair involving just two bolts and an electrical clip connector. I am very satisfied with this product's quality, fit and price.

Took mechanic mere minutes to install. Great value too.
After having entire throttle body assembly replaced, a couple weeks later same msg was displayed, "reduced engine power, etc". This was the final piece of the puzzle; possibly the original problem. Has been more than a 1000 miles ago, with no issues so far. BTW, almost 1/2 of price locally, and would have been ordered anyway.

Did not work, made things worse...
Changed this part out thinking this was my problem for limp mode problem. When I put it on it actually made things worse. No matter what my mechanic did, didn't work. Tried other avenues thinking it couldn't possibly be a bad part since it was supposed to be new. Well, after cleaning throttle body and working on harness, decided to put old pedal back on. Now I have no problems. Meaning I wasted allot of time and energy on this product, so much so I missed the return window by 3 days. Probably should have worried more about it since it came in a plastic bag, no actual box. I can't tell you if it's the real thing or they sent me defective part...be careful.

Does the job
Kid was selling an Impala claiming transmission issues, engine reduce power etc., checked OBDII codes knew exactly what it was, got the car dirt cheap, $60 later, now I have a car worth 4x what I paid & runs/drives great!

Perfect fit
Mechanic was going to charge me about $200 parts and labor. I paid about $50 for the part and replaced it myself in 15 minutes!!

Fixes common Chevy Impala problem
We have had to replace so many gas pedals on Chevy Impalas there really should be a recall on them from Chevy. With that said, customers vehicle's show symptoms similar to a bad transmission. It ends up being the gas pedal and this one corrects the issue every time. Has saved 4 of my customers a good chunk of change replacing this instead of the transmission

It was not compatible with my car
It fit and looked the same but after a month of brainstorming other issues that could be causing my car to run horribly, I bought a new pedal at canadian tire for $150 bucks and my car ran perfectly. Wiring and throttle body were next in line for troubleshooting and would have cost a heck of a lot more to replace .
