These I find so much easier to light my open fire without the need for kindling. I let it burn and then add logs…bingo. No smoke or smell. With the logs added great heat output.

I have a fireplace in my house I love to light it up almost every night to create cosy atmosphere and to warm up the house and I find these briquettes very useful.They light up with ease (just one match is enough) and do last as promised (up to 2 hrs), however I would not recommend burning just these for heating, they are really to make the fire start and then you can put either logs or coal on top and you can have nice hot fire burning in minutes.Best value on the internet, and I looked everywhere. So buy with confidence

Love this product. I have a wood burner and like a lot of people, I can use kindling to light it or use one of these. These get it going really quickly - great for cold nights. I just wish they were cheaper.

They are expensive but do but do burn really well.

these logs are perfect . I have a small log burner so can actually cut these logs down the middle.They take the flame straight away , whereas when i use small firelighters i have to keep adding more as they keep going out fast . Just add some kindling and coal / log and the fire is great .Wont go back to small firelighters again .
