Absolutely superb little lamp. When I first saw it I was somewhat sceptical about how good it was. I waited until it went dark and switched it on. WOW oh WOW, oh WOW!!!!!! It is totally amazing. Unbelieveably bright, caetainly far more bright than some other more expensive ones I have tried. If you need a small lamp for camping or round the house. I can only say 2 words......BUY ONE.........you won't be disappointed, it's brilliant.

Handy item to keep around the home as well as for camping (might need it if the electric goes off in these troubled times). The light is really bright. Only downside is the batteries required are HUGE - D size and it needs three of them. The lamp can be carried by a handle on the top or hung up from a folding hook on the bottom.

Heavy if you are walking far Check out the 4th image for how the batteries should be inserted, and to go clockwise. I found it difficult doing that. I was using it in a bathroom, about 20 minutes daily (not using shower) and rusted after a couple of weeks. So not suitable for that.

I bought 2 of these lanterns after experiencing a 4 hr power outage that left us in the dark. There reviews helped me make up my mind. I liked that it was a very bright lantern and would light a large space. It was easy to put the batteries into place. Just twist open and twist shut. It has a built in handle for carrying and a smaller loop to hang it if needed. I tried both lanterns with the batteries to make sure they worked. I then removed the batteries and stored the lanterns with my batteries so they could be put to use quickly if necessary. I think these were well worth the money spent.

voldoende lichtopbrengst, handig dat je de lichtwarmte kan kiezen, ook beperkte regeling van de helderheid. Verbruik heb ik nog geen kijk op
