Worked as well as advertised tested, no problems found

Very easy to install. Simple plug into EnvisaLink 4 card and a screw into stud. Set up with Eyez-On was easily done through their web portal, taking about 24 hours to activate. Those two steps, set it and forget it. Nice to have the secondary line of communication given that ip-based alarm systems require both power (modem, router) and active internet connection to communicate by default. With battery backup on the alarm system and cellular, the signal will get out even if power and/or internet lines cut.

The LTE backup quickly activated when the internet is down. But:When the LTE is activated to back up the lost home internet, you lose most of the functionality of the EzesOn: you don’t see the status, you can’t arm/disarm your system; you would only be able to receive “alerts “!When you’re away from home, your security system maybe armed or disarmed by other family members. In the LTE backup mode, you won’t be able to know, you wouldn’t get a burglary alert if the system isn’t armed.It’s obvious that they want to minimize the cellular usage, but the Customers pay an extra to get the cellular backup! The current backup isn’t a really good one! Hope EyezON can step up to have a fully functioning one! After all, most most time, the system is on the internet, not on the cellar!

No recomiendo la compra ya que el agregado de èste mòdulo implica un costo anual entre servicio plus y datos de US$120.- o sea casi el mismo costo del combo (controladora+sidekick) y por lo que ví, sólo reporta parcialmente algunos eventos, mientras que con sòlo el mòdulo envisalink se obtienen el 100% del control y registros totalmente gratis, no tiene sentido el costo extra en relaciòn de lo que proporciona.

I punched-out the knockout on the panel door, routed the cable through the hole to plug into the Envisalink board inside the panel and then used the supplied double-sided tape to stick the Sidekick to the alarm panel metal door.

The Amazon version of this product apparently has a known problem with a loose antenna post. It can only be fixed by taking the case apart. The company said that the ones they carry have been corrected. However, the ones here, at least the one I got have not.It is a good product. Just not the ones here

Need a cable at least 36" to reach the EVL4 in the alarm panel. Provided cable is only 14in. Returning...
