Pleasantly surprised with the results this shoe has had on my climbing
These shoes are an amazing surprise. I mainly got them b/c of the price as my specific size had a good percentage off the original price. I have been climbing for four years and I am a female who wears a size 7.5 in street size. Supposedly the men and women's shoes differ by a 1.5 sizes. So that would put me at a six but I like my shoes to fit precisely so I got a size five as all my five tens have been size five. I have used the tans and had two pairs of gallileos. I also used Evolv bandits in the past buying a couple of those.I am very surprised at how well they fit considering this is purchased by a lot of men. I have a high-ish arches and relatively narrow feet. I get compliments on my feet because they are feminine looking and small-ish for my height. Everything fits perfectly even the heel. The gallileos ran too wide for me but I still loved them and they worked for me. I am used to a more stiff shoe but the sensitivity and precision of these shoes as well as the great fit has literally improved my climbing by a quarter of a grade. I can't stand on smaller holds with less defined edges as well as the Gallileos but I am climbing overhang and working technical routes with harder moves than I am used to so for me it's well worth the tradeoff. I just finished my first five twelve a climb, some say it's a five twelve b. I realized the stiffer shoe makes me feet and lowers legs feel less beat up from a session but they were making me weak in some ways. This shoe really has me working the toe down maneuver like I never have before. Also easier to do heel hooks with a less stiff shoe in my opinion. I am using the purplish version by the way and people compliment the color. Most people i know in the gym use la sportivas so i like being the only one in the group not to have those.

Awesome shoes... If you like 5.10 (I do)
These shoes are awesome. I recently upgraded from a set of 5.10 Rogues that served me well and the Anasazi's are significantly better. That said, they fit like 5.10's, so the toe box is a bit wide. These are better at heal hooking than my Rogues (though no great), edge well and have epic grip on slab. Took me a few trips to the gym to break them in, but I am now in love with these shoes.I would not recommend them if you do a ton of overhanging bouldering, a more aggressive toe will serve you better there. But if you're looking for a well performing shoe that will be comfortable for long days at the crag, then you've found it.Update: I've just purchased my second pair of Anasazi's. The first pair served me well, but I purchased them a bit large. Do not expect to get much stretch out of these shoes, but after 6-8 months of climbing several times a week, they are definitely softer. This means that the shoe can tend to twist around your foot on small holds. I purchased a size down this time and am extremely happy with the results. I'm looking forward to using these for quite some time.

Great all around shoe
Order street shoe size in these. Great all around shoe, edges well, smears well, may take some time to get used to the aggressive heel cup. Love the blue version, the orange is supposed to switch to the C4 rubber per 5.10, but hard to go wrong with either. The rubber needs some break in to fully appreciate.

I have wide feet and had problems trying find shoes that fit snug but comfortably. The Anasazi VCS's shape fits my feet quite nicely, although the heel cup is a bit too large/long. These are my first pair of climbing shoes and happy with my purchase.

Recommend for anyone needing a solid shoe and wants to ...
Tremendous fan of the Anasazi Verdes, but with those no longer being made these are about as close to the secure, no frills shoe, but there is a little less sensitivity owed I believe to thicker rubber. Recommend for anyone needing a solid shoe and wants to train the foot to pull in rather than rely on aggressive and cramped shoes. Fair warning on sizing, though, is the anasazi tag has cut into my ankle if improperly sized.

They work perfect for me
They work perfect for me. Really liked it all the way. I do most trad climb around 100 meters and usualy I have to remove the shoes while belaying, but it was expected and with the velcro they are easy to get back on the feet. For me it's precise enough with very suportable disconfort, but I bought have a number down - I can even say it goes better than expected.

Five Stars
like the shoes - 3rd pair over the past couple of years. They stretch a little but feel comfortable.

If you're buying anasazi's, you already know what you're getting.
This is not the flashiest shoe, and it is definitely not what you want for steep, overhung routes. But for vertical, technical climbs, this shoe is one of the best out there. Great edging, great support, super sticky and durable rubber. Love it.
