I can use my CPAP now!
I was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea a few years ago. I should really take it more seriously than I do, but sleep apnea feels/seems almost like a "first world problem", if you know what I mean. It feels almost like a pretentious thing, but it really isn't. It's pretty serious. Lately, it really got to me. I almost feel more tired after waking up vs. going to bed, I feel fatigued, I'm gaining weight for no discernable reason, my wife who is used to my snoring says it's almost out of control and that I've started kicking in my sleep, but the thing that got my S9 out of the bag in the closet was recent surgery. Some of you may identify, some may not. I abandoned my machine 3 months into using it because it would wake me up several times nightly. CPAP therapy almost feels invasive, at least for me. If it wasn't the pillow pushing air (rightfully so) into my throat and lungs, escaping loudly through my mouth waking me up, it was was the 'lips' on the mask wheezing ever so slightly before opening up to a fully whooshing sound, also waking me. I could live with this. What I couldn't live with is the cold air being sucked into my system...air that would, even with a humidifier, completely dry my oral/nasal 'wet areas' out. I didn't know what to do, so one day I scornfully packed away my then almost brand new, $700 machine.Enter 3/28/2018. I had surgery on my back and my doctor couldn't stress enough how much he wanted me to get back on the CPAP. He said, "even if it's for the next week or 2, use it". It's imperative to get proper sleep for this thing to heal back up and I have to sleep on my side and stomach. So I pulled my old' S9 out, dusted it off and gave it a serious one over. For the most part, it still looks pretty good. Water chamber is fine. Masks are all fine. Unit works. I lost the hose somehow so I decided to check Amazon for a replacement. I didn't really know I could get parts because as I mentioned, I wasn't really into the whole CPAP thing. I did it in vain for 3 or so months and stopped. I did try. The woman who was responsible for programming it, etc. heard all of my complaints and she really didn't do much, she adjusted the pressure up and down. The S9 automatically ramps the pressure up as needed and does some stuff to make sure you get a good sleep but it wasn't working for me at the time.Lo and behold, one of the first things I found was this heated tubing. Heated tubing?! I thought. Maybe that'll solve this whole cold air/drying mouth issue and I promptly bought it. I couldn't be more pleased. The tubing when connected to my S9 activates climate control on the machine, allowing me to set the heat up to 86f. Now I can use my machine! I tried it again and let me tell you, nothing really beats a full night of quality sleep. I still have to mess with what works best (pillow, nose mask, full mask) but today I woke up feeling great. I regret not getting this all those years ago and not using my machine! If you have the S9 or one of the newer ones and it can do heated air, do it. You won't regret it.Per the item itself, it works well. It flexes and stretches nicely and feels pretty durable.

It works perfectly.
Anyone who lives in the far North should have one of these for their cpap machine. It totally eliminates any moisture build up cause by cold in the bedroom. A cool bedroom causes the highly humidified air to precipitate out and awakes you with trying to breath water. Our bedroom varies in temperature during the winter between 55 and 62 degrees. This product simply works. Yes, I know that we could get an electric heater, but we are old and find sleeping in the cold improves the quality of our sleep.

Nearly separated after 2 1/2 months use!
Hose is substandard quality or I received a defective item because I haven’t used this thing for more then 2 1/2 months and the reinforcement spiral in the hose at the connection where it attaches to the cpap machine is almost torn open already. It’s separated and about to break. Only thing holding hose together at connection is the thin plastic. Original non heated hose later me almost 4 years and I decided to switch to the heated hose to reduce condensation and this hose doesn’t appear it will last 6 months! Very disappointed. Cannot return after 30 day window and I didn’t start using it until after that period of time. Smh 🤦‍♂️

Don't Be Like Me! Do Not Accidentally Order for Airsense 10!
Arrived quickly, which we needed after melting our other tube. Unfortunately, ordered for the wrong machine after some erroneous, non Amazon research. 5 starts because it was a legit product, our fault that it was the wrong one.

Holes in tubing
Has anyone experienced after a week or two the hose gets holes in it? It’s advertised as lighter and thinner tubing, that being said , where the tube bends a hole develops. I’ve purchased two tubes within a very short period of time. And they both have developed five or more air holes in them due to this.

Just wash them before use!
Brand new, all sealed up. You just need to wash these in some warm water with dawn dish soap and then rinse them out and let them dry before using them, and there won't be a plastic smell.

If you like the smell of chemical agents in your lungs
After a week of daily washing and airing out, this still smells like plasticizer and mould release chemicals. (I worked in the plastics industry). This is not the same quality as a real ResMed hose. Clearly made by a knock-off factory that doesn't know how to properly manufacture plastics for human use. Invest in your health (which is why you have a CPAP) and buy a reliable product.

shipping was great. Hose causes my cpap to error and shutoff ...
Returned to Amazon as hose was defective. shipping was great. Hose causes my cpap to error and shutoff at the slightest movement of hose at its connection. I can disconnect and insert old hose and system works perfect. plug this one back in and it errors out saying Humidifier needs replacement. I dont think so!

Musty smelling tubing!!
Original review that has now changed:Quick delivery, great product, very reasonable price. Great value 👍Amended review:I needed to edit my original review.Although I thought the tubing was terrific and it's a great product, when I first used the tubing I discovered it has a very musty smell that comes all the way through my CPAP when it is turned on.I have contacted the seller today I am hoping it will not be a problem getting a replacement for the tubing. I will update my review when this matter is resolved.

Does not fit the Resmed Airsense 10
The connecting adapter is not suitable for the Resmed Airsense 10. I am so glad I checked and tested it while it was still in the packaging.

Great price for a much needed accessory for my cpap
My heated line had so many cracks that it was no longer effective and then last week, actually ripped at the connection. It was now being held with Tuc Tape. When I found this heated line for this price, I jumped on it. I didn’t realize how much the air leaks affected my sleep. I slept 7hrs straight for the first time in almost a year because there were no leaks. I bought a new headgear with Jose pillows which sealed the deal(pun intended).

It's nice but doesn't fit
Based on the reviews, of what people were saying it fit, I got it for my CPAP and it doesn't connect (wrong fittings) to my mask or the CPAP. Pay close attention to the fittings in the picture and what your hose attachments are before ordering.

Does not feel as good quality as the original tubing
First impression was that the tubing was fragile, not like the original. I bought this Resmed brand because I did not want to compromise on quality
