We bought these to put on our dining room chair legs in order to protect our LVT floors. We tried the type that just stick on and they squished right off the side after a single use, because our chair legs rest on the floor at an angle. These are great, because they swivel to meet the floor squarely. Pros: 1. Very easy to install. The directions include which drill bit to use and the design is intuitive. It only took about 10 minutes to install these on six dining room chairs. 2. They do exactly what they are supposed to do: they swivel to sit flush on the floor and the padding protects our LVT. My husband and I both weigh over 200 pounds and there has not been a single scratch after installing these, even when sliding across the floor while seated. 3. These are made to last. The pad is guaranteed not to come off, but if for some reason it did, you could just snap off the piece that has the pad attached and snap on a new one. 4. They are subtle. 5. Since there is a felt pad touching the floor, they are quiet when sliding and they move easily. Cons: 1. The swivel joint is stiff, so you need to use your hands to move it into place before setting the chair down.

These work really well on bar stools and dining chairs, especially those with an angled foot or leg. They raise the chairs or stools up about 1 inch, which for our bar stools was desirable. We also have them on dining chairs, and they really protect the wood floor. Fairly easy to install. We predrilled our holes. They stay on much better than the stick on pads. We’ve had them on our dining chairs for about a year now and they’re still good.

Installed Luxury Flooring. If you have this, you know how hard it is the keep clean . We have first purchased felt pads that stuck to the bottom of our furniture to protect the floors. All they did was attract every piece of dust, and animal hair, becoming a gross mess, that did not come clean. These GorillaFelt Swivel Glide Felt Sliders screw in and are barely noticeable on our kitchen chairs. Best idea our there !

I drilled a pilot hole with a 1/8 drill bit instead of the 3/32 recommended on the package. Maybe the legs on my chair are harder wood than most, but I needed this size in order to get the screws in. The power drill put the screws in just fine -- the screws were not flimsy or wonky like some others have experienced. Maybe they didn't use a pilot hole big enough? I just finished putting these on my four dining room chairs so I do not know how durable they will be. They did not slide across my LVP all that well, but okay -- just as good as the adhesive felt pads which always come off and then my dog eats them. I am hoping these felt pads stay on.

These could not be a better find. If you are like me and have Windsor chairs that are angled at the base, then you too have to replace the old rubber style felt cups every six months or so. Well no more! These were easy to install, with easy to follow directions. It took about 15 minutes for the entire job, which included bringing the chairs out to the garage and back. They are very sturdy and the chairs glide with easy. The only reason that I did not give them 5-Stars for durability, is that I just put them on. In the coming months I will update this review based on performance. I am sure that they will hold up as they appear solid and have quality felt pads. I highly recommend. **UPDATE (05-24-23) We have had these installed for two months now. We are just as pleased with them as when we put them on. Much nicer, much cleaner.

Works great for chairs with angled legs. Really easy to install. I did 6 chairs in about 30 minutes.

If you do have chairs with angled legs, and non-swiveling feet that leave marks or indentations in your flooring, these will remedy the problem. I have only just installed them so their durability is still in question. But my initial review can only be to give this the highest rating.

The two plastic parts slide in - they do not appear to be long lasting. The screws are awful - the heads pop off. I had to use sturdier screws that I had available. I would not purchase this product again.

I purchased this particular product because of the swivel feature. The legs of my dining room chairs are on a slant, not straight up and down, and I read several reviews advising that the normal flat sliders don't work well on that style of leg. I these Gorilla sliders about a year ago and no issues so far. They are all still intact and protect the floors. Sure, they take a little more work to install than the stick-on flat style - I drilled a hole in each leg to screw the slider in - but it was well worth it. These are great.

Easy to install, instructions are clear. If you are installing them in a room with aa door, I suggest closing the door; I left the doors open, and I iinadvertently dropped the first ball, on a ceramic floor. It rolled about 4 meters, into the next room, and found a little hiding place. I finally recovered it, and was more careful with the other ones. Performance-wise, the ball action is smooth, no more metallic noses like there was on the previous set of glides, and the gliding action is quite smooth and quiet. Very glad I found these.
