Does the job
Replaces the two nose pads that squeezed the nose. This solid nose strap keeps my glasses where they need to be and does not squeeze the nose. I can breathe.

These are fine, but it’s not your existing pads that are the problem
I bought these because my new glasses were painful to wear. I thought these would help. They didn’t, but that’s not the fault of these pads. What I learned through experimentation, and comparing with earlier glasses with perfectly ordinary pads that are comfortable, is that it’s not the pads. It’s the arms hold the pads.My nose-piece arms on my new glasses were twisted, so just a narrow little edge of the nose pads rested on my nose. That effectively cut into my nose. Changing to these pads didn’t change that. You can generally bend eyeglass nose-piece arms with your fingers, but you can’t twist them. What worked was cautious use of needle nose pliers.I had to adjust them further because I had a much more conventional problem - the arms were too close together, which pinched my nose and left dents. These pads, while nice enough, didn’t help with that either.I do like these pads now that my glasses are correctly adjusted, but I’m telling you that if your glasses are uncomfortable, switching to these isn’t going to help much. The root cause isn’t your eyeglass pads, it’s how the supports are pushing those pads into your nose.

These do add some cushion and less redness on your nose bridge
My wire rim glasses were painful to wear. No matter what the opticians at Costco did my nose was red and painful from the nose pieces. They changed them from plastic to silicone and back to plastic. I put lotion on my nose and everything! I searched for something to cushion the glasses and found these. I bought these and took them to Costco and they put the smallest one on and it helped a lot. They were still making one side red so I went back and they adjusted that. So far, so good. The opticians at Costco just said, Come back when you need them adjusted and we will be happy to help! I do alternate my glasses with a plastic pair. These do work!

Relief at last!
These pads provide a bridge over the nose so that the weight of the glasses is distributed over a larger area of the nose. I first installed the second largest size, but found that the largest was better for me. Installation is a bit of a challenge since in general you need to be wearing a pair of glasses to install the pads! The screws in my glasses are very small. A minuscule screwdriver is needed, and perhaps a spare pair of glasses (+2.00-3.00), to complete the operation. The screwdriver is NOT provided. It has been two days since I installed the nose bridge pads. They are well made and just what I needed.

SO comfortable!!!
Ordered my eyeglasses online to save money and they are the most painful glasses I've ever worn in 40 years. I tried adjusting the arms, added some silicon sleeves to the arms to keep the glasses in just the right place, replaced the nose pads with the ones from my last pair of glasses, but they still killed my nose. I just got this kit with the different size u-shaped nose pads, put on the largest one, and -- no pain. I'm so happy and grateful that these work! I even took off the arm sleeves to see if just the nose pads will be enough, and it feels like they will be all I need.

One nose piece is not completely covered with silicone.
I bought there in hopes that it was perfect for the other nose pieces. I needed the medium that was in there, put it on the glasses, and within hours the same right side was annoying me (Itchy and scratchy) I can not see without my glasses, but felt it well and could fee the area that was a hard plastic piece in which was not covered with the silicone. :( Will not purchase again because of this. Perhaps a faulty one that slipped through in production, But can not use it. :(

comfortable, nice assortment
I bought this assortment because I wasn't sure what size I needed. The one I ended up using is comfortable, but now I see that they're not available. Hopefully that's temporary. At least now I know what size I need.It is important to find the right size. If it's too small, your glasses may sit too high on your face. If it's too big, the part that goes across the bridge won't provide any support, and it may actually be in the way.My frames generally have a 16mm-18mm bridge, and the larger sizes that other sellers sell as a one-size-fits-all are way too big for me. The two smallest sizes in this assortment work best for me, and I'd probably want the smallest one in most frames, although I can't use it with my current frame as it needs to sit a little lower than the smallest size allows.
