Saphir products are the best you can get. I use several different Saphir products for all my cowboy boots and I’ve never been disappointed. I have a pair of snakeskin and teju lizard boots. The snakeskin boots were a bit dry when I bought them but some Reptan made a huge difference. My wife also has some snakeskin boots that were VERY dry when we got them and some Reptan made them look like completely different boots. It made them shine and brought out the beautiful black cherry color.

I just started to use the conditioner, too soon to tell on its effectiveness. However, if a first look is valid, the conditioner looks to be of high quality in feel, how it goes on the shoe and even a pleasant smell. I have used other lower cost conditioners that have a greasy, somewhat industrial feel, which this one is not.

I used this product on both my caiman and rattlesnake boots. Worked great on both. With the caiman boots I let it dry then gave a good buffing with a brush and it brought out a pretty good shine by itself. As you can see in the pic, it did darken the leather slightly but I had no problem with that. (FYI, I also used saphir neutral cream polish and wax polish on the toe box)

Easy to use for reptile boots, keeps the skins soft and supple. This is rated as the best for exotic boots and shoes to protect and condition the leather. Easy-to-use, a little goes a long way. Recommended
