Jack Richeson Adjustable Economy Steel Heavy Duty Floor Sculpture Pottery Stand

Was afraid to buy this because of the reviews but did anyway bc there isn’t a competitor. I love it. Easy to put together although it was crooked for a while until I realized I had to tightened the screws with the thing upside down to ensure the top would be flat. Anyway, it works great.

Such poor quality almost destroyed my artwork. The top piece that holds the work is a laminated piece of chipboard. It showed up busted and cracked on the sides. “Disappointing,” I thought but cosmetic so I assembled anyway. Then screws completely ripped out of the same top making it drop down when I put on the sculpture I was working on. Almost making it fall off if I had not been standing there in disbelief. The screws are not long enough and the chipboard is incapable of holding it. I would returned it if I could show up at UPS, drop it off and not have to disassemble it. I am now searching for a 16x16 piece of wood to replace the top. So not worth the money.

Delivery was good, product not so much. Chipped top, peeling paint legs and bolts with faulty threads- this was not worth the list price:(

It was exactly as shown. Great quality at a great price.

Hardware was loose in the box, 2 of the bolts were missing. Melamine top has scratches on it plus a large bent corner as you can see in photo # 4. The other surface has scratches and dents. I can only assume that these items were damaged due to being poorly packaged. I did not notice the damage to this until I put it together. These damaged pieces were upside down in box and I did not take them out of box until it was time to add it to the stand. Would love to get a new melamine top as I am afraid I will scratch myself on the bent corner while using it.

I'd give this a five star if it was shorter. I didn't realise it is made to work standing. I like to sit and the lowest position causes me to be lifting and holding my arms up. I wish the legs were about four inches shorter. I'm sure this was designed by a man and a tall one at that.
