Like a simple game controller
After doing a bit of research I found out that the kindle fire HDX7 along with what seems to be ALL kindles have NO usb hosting. That means only data transfer and charging are capable from the mini usb port on the kindle. That makes this cord nothing more than a 3 inch version of the cord you already recieve with the kindle exept with a female end. It says "you can connect your usb device." ....Like a simple game controller? I bought this to plug in a game controller and it doesnt work. I'm capable of downloading the software needed and getting a controller to work but like I said there is now usb hosting to work with in the first place. This cord is uselss without usb hosting so whats the deal? Also how do you plug in a printer to this cable (like suggested right next to the item on amazon) when it has a FEMALE end???? Show me one printer in existance with a male usb port sticking out of it. Garbage. Part of this is my fault for not doing more research but this product promises to do things with the kindle that the Kindle is incapeable of doing. If I'm wrong on any of this someone please correct me and tell me how to make this work at which point I will happily appologize and write a new review on this product.

Great product
Cord works great. I intended to buy this for my Wacom drawing tablet. I received it and works great. Plugged both kindles fire and plugged into cord to Wacom board works excellent. Fast shipping.
