Q: The auto hdmi switching does not work. anybody else having this issue? will not change to active device when i turn one off.

I had problem with this switcher also! Mine would switch to another input by itself! No longer using this switcher! Do not recommend this product!

Q: Will this switch work with Sonos sound bar?

Works great with my Sonos Playbase. I use it with PS4, Xbox 360, Apple TV, Nintendo Switch. Sends the video signal to my older TV via HDMI and separately sends the audio to my Playbase via optical audio cable. My Playbase is part of a 5.1 surround system, and I need a Dolby Digital 5.1 for that. Works great.

It does. That being said, it doesnt remember your settings when you turn it off and each channel has to be set up individually. So if it loses power, you have to go through each channel and turn it back on because arc isn't enabled by default.
