This product arrived today and I'm really happy with the quality of it. It's better than the one that I paid $35 for at a retail store and it will likely last longer. I was really happy with the little tab at the end of the net, so when you go to empty it you don't have to grab the netting. You use the tab to help empty the net. It's a keeper! I also liked that the seller left a note in the box to ask you to contact them if you were not happy with the product. Nice touch!

This is re: an inground plaster pool of about 28' x 15'.I've been using an aluminum frame usual blue net skimmer [3-4 of them?] the past 9 years in Vegas. Don't know if the heat affects the net, but they always get a gash in the front middle; about 3-4" below the center of the frame. Gash about 3" wide, but still usable. Those blue nets feel kinda sorta plastic-y, instead of real nylon. I think that's why they don't last.So, Prime Day showed me this net for 15.99. More expensive, but the net looked superior - and it is. The plastic frame, however, is not as good as it looks. It scrapes my plaster pool bottom, rather than gliding and scooping debris. I can see I will need to be very careful on the pool bottom so as to NOT break the frame with a quick motion. The frame does not feel very strong, or slide along the bottom very well, hence why this skimmer is short of 5 star.I like the net, and the little tab thingy to aid in shaking out debris. I think the net will last a good while, hopefully. It does seem "finer" compared to the blue ones, so I expect it to catch more of the tinier stuff. We shall see...

This pool net is far better than a normal skimming net. There is a weight at the bottom of the net that helps the net stay down when using it as well as very easy to empty the net when you want to discard of leaves or frogs etc. Also, the net has an edge that you can easily slide on the pool bottom to pick up leaves and other debri. Ease of use and time saver....

I purchased this item after being contacted by the seller when I posted a concern I had with my previous purchase of the the non-weighted version of the leaf rake from the same seller. They made me aware that they also sold a weighted version, which I much prefer as it aids in the skimming and, especially emptying of the leaf rake. So I returned the non-weighted on and purchased a weighted one. I'm happy with the weighted version and pleased with the price.

Pool Net is by far the best one I have used. I bought 3 nets from Wal-Mart, and every time the cheap metal arms that hold the net broke. The PoolWhale net is solid, strong & durable all plastic. I doesn't give in the water and stands up to the pressure of going through the water, even when you are trying to get something off the bottom of the pool. I won't buy another brand of pool nets ever. Must buy

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Needed a pool skimmer to get rid of insects and random frogs in the condo pool before a swim. This skimmer is the right size - 6 feet" and lightweight so that I can use it without hazard to self! I store it behind a heavy object so that it won't get blown away. Very pleased with it.
