Source Naturals MSM Methylsulfonylmethane Powder (35oz)

Upon opening the MSM, I was alarmed by how free-flowing and powdery it was. This can sometimes indicate anti-caking/flow agents and fillers were used. Attempting to alleviate my concerns, I read the label to no satisfaction, which then led to me visiting the website and finally calling customer service to get ingredient information.The worst part was how obviously misleading and unscrupulous the rep was trying to be. Let's be clear, THERE IS NO LIST OF INGREDIENTS ON THE WEBSITE'S SUPPLEMENT FACTS TAB. Don't believe these liars. Nothing on the product label or website explicitly says "Ingredients" Don't be fooled. Them implying it's there and allowing you to assume it as such is not the same and can be easily refuted and dismissed as you simply misinterpreting the info. He purposefully directed me to the supplement facts tab stating that was the list of ingredients when in fact it was only the daily values percentages. Frustrated at having my intelligence insulted, I asked him if he was confident that the sole ingredient was MSM and nothing else then send me an e-mail stating just that and I'll believe it. He said he could not, but could send a link to the page. I said fine, if you send it stating the link contains a complete list of ingredients. He then placed me on hold and never returned to the phone I was on hold for 5 minutes before the call was disconnected. My point is, he knew that him stating the ingredients in writing as a representative for the company would be contradictory to the truth. I won't be convinced them not labeling ingredients was an oversight either. The money is less of an issue than the distrust I now have toward this company due to their lack of integrity. I'm fine with a poor quality product if I have full disclosure and agree to accept the risks but that's not what they're doing, which leads me to believe the additives may be a significant health risk to anyone who uses it. What they're doing is dangerous and they should be ashamed. Not only will I not be purchasing this product in the future, but I will avoid all products under the Source Naturals Brand.

This supplement does so much for me. It helps with joint pain, eliminates my seasonal allergies, and firms up my skin. I use 1-2 teaspoons in concord grape juice daily, but is still effective if you accidentally skip a day. I suggest starting with an 1/8 teaspoon in 16-20 fl oz of a vitamin C-containing liquid because it can give one detox symptoms, works well with vitamin C, and it is quite bitter. I have been using this brand since 2009 and will use it for life.

I take this every single day. I take 1 teaspoon with a shot of pink grapefruit juice diluted with water. I find the grapefruit juice helps to cover up the bitterness of the MSM. This works wonders for my joints, especially my aging knees. I cannot go a day without my MSM or I notice it right away.

I bought this because I was trying to save money from the brand I normally buy OptiMSM from, also I buy from Source Naturals often so I knew this was a good brand. I will say there is a huge difference between crystal and powder and this stuff is powder though at the time I didn't think it would make much of a difference, however it does make a difference. I felt less energized and significant less pain reduction. All that said I was also bothered that the company didn't include a scoup for there powder. The good things are that the powder does dissolve quickly and easily also the taste is not terrible.
