Bought for kiddo for some get outside entertainment. We've got access to space that can use this. This is NOT something I'd recommend be inside. We do use a lot of our other Nerf gear inside, for Nerf Gun battles and whatnot, but the distance this flies, I wouldn't recommend it. This has a nice bow that was easy for me as a sometimes competent but also very klutzy adult to snap into place. Kid screwed in the screw himself. Target setup was nothing, and it seems, like most Nerf items to be well made, with an understanding it will be used HARD. Arrows have a smushy tip that collapses when pushed on (more like a nipple for a bottle or the rim of goggles than any other Nerf items we have). I was worried because the draw on the bow seems hard, but my kid was able to do it and shoot the target his first shot. Arrows do "whistle" when shot, but it isn't teakettle loud, more the sound when you almost whistle, but don't quite make the noise. Kiddo and husband had great fun with this toy. I wish this came with more than two arrows but we did order the additional three. One arrow did hit a car window on it's down trajectory (after flying about 50 ft.) and caused no damage other than to my stress level. Arrows have been shot in very thick trees and fallen right to the ground, which is good. Kid has been playing and making up games for hours over multiple days with this thing. This is a fun toy, and the fact that it's Dude Perfect branded is a bonus for my kid. This is a big toy, and it doesn't fold down. Not a problem for us, but may be for some. It seems very well made, but the arrows are already showing some dings. Don't think it will impact function, but something to be aware of. I would think this would be a terrific gift for any one who wants to try out some archery, and I could totally see it being fun at outside parties for adults.

Wow - such fun, and very powerful. Ours came missing the safety bolt that prevents the bow from possibly folding during shooting. Nerf is no longer producing this product, and could not replace bolt. Came up with my own bolt and fixed it quickly. Kids love it!

This is worth every dollar. I bought this for my son as a Christmas gift (2018). He loves this. He’s still learning how to use it and position himself but it is by far one of his favorite Christmas gifts. Even when he’s not shooting it, he’s walking around with it calling himself the green arrow. This bow is large and it’s about my son's height but it is very lightweight and easy for him to hold. The arrows are also lightweight with soft tips, which is one of the reasons I bought this bow. He has difficulty shooting the arrow and I help him because he’s not able to pull the bow string all the way back. This is meant for an older child obviously. My son is 5 years old, soon to be 6. He is slightly tall for his age and about 45 pounds. For that reason, I watch my son diligently when using this bow. Basic archery safety is also important to discuss. We also have a 9 year old child in our lives that loves this bow. He’s average height and weight for his age. He is able to handle it really well and he really enjoys playing with it as well. This is also a really fun bow for adults. My partner and I were shooting the target with our kiddos together and it was great idea for family time. I was just wishing we bought another because everyone wanted a turn haha. This is a big recommend!! Also, it does make the whistle sound!
