Fabricator/ welder
Before the apron. While welding the hydraulic tanks I would be seated welding focused on my puddle & speed. The sparks would land on my outer pants leg. Over time it grew worse and eventually catch fire because of the fraying material would and will catch fire. This leather apron has put and end to that situation. The pocket are are great for wire brushes scrappers for splatter. Just don’t put your welper it feels as if your fumbling with driver gloves on. The upper pockets are great for soap stone . Paint pens pen lights. Get yourself some gorilla glue for the day those pockets fail. I applied the gorilla glue to the seams where the thread failed. The apron sat overnight with weight on it. It’s been great. This is actually my second pair. The final fail for the first pair after a solid year of 10 hours shifts five days a week. Came at the vinyl strap attached to the leather torn away and was barely hanging on. But no problem I ordered a replacement.

My husband absolutely loves them.
My husband loves that the apron is long enough for him and that the gloves are tough yet comfortable at the same time.

Good product made with nice thick leather.
Stops those annoying little hot BB's from rolling down your shirt or pants.

Can't put a price on your own life
Thick enough leather, criss cross design is comfy (kinda cheap straps but hasn't been a problem after over a month of about everywhere day use), plenty of pockets for quick tooling/measuring/marking/phone access. Got apron gloves and arm sleeves and they are great for welding, they aren't TIG gloves so dexterity is limited as expected, the arms eventually will probably need buckles as the velcro doesn't really do a good job keeping them up on your arms, maybe that's just me.. would be nice to have a couple rings of silicone on the inside to keep them from sliding down, maybe 1 above and 1 below the velcro - easily diy'd tho. Great value for price tho and will def last long enough to feel like I got my money out of them. They've already saved me from a couple of mishaps that would've cut/burned me up pretty good. If your on the fence just know that eventually something weird will happen almost inevitably, your safety is worth every penny you spend on it so.. keeps clothes from getting so gunked and dirty too.

Pretty good. Webbing can occasionally be a little uncomfortable on my neck.
I have used this for about a month, taking it to a blacksmithing class, some grinding, and doing some forging at home. It's had hot slag, sparks, and flaming bits of punch lube thrown at it, been used to uncomfortably balance tongs while smacking things, and used as a way to keep my gloves, safety glasses, and a few tools (punches, chisels, draw knife, etc) handy whenever I've needed to grab and go. I've thrown (unsharpened and cold) axe heads, hammer heads, and other random things into the pockets with no problem. No signs of wear or any burning yet, and my mobility is good while wearing this. The front pockets are in a place where if you are carving a handle with a draw knife, you'll end up with pockets full of wood shavings -- not a real problem. If I had any complaint, it would be that the straps are a bit thin. If they were a slightly wider webbing, I think it would be a little more comfortable around the neck.Overall, I'm pretty happy with this.

Life saver
I'm a yarn dyer ... my main concern is getting wet and getting steam burns as I lean over pots. This apron is awesome. It's great quality! The fastening straps give great support as the apron is heavy, they also mean the top really does stay as high as I like it. Fantastic

Was pleasantly surprised.
Seems fairly well made by western standards (for the price). Quality materials put together well. Time will tell but seems like it will last a good while.
