Amazon sells replacement leads. Search the AMAZON site for "Koh-I-Noor 6 Gioconda 5.6 mm Graphite Leads". They come in boxes of 6 leads and are priced at about $1 per lead (give or take). The leads range in hardness from about 2B to 6B and are large diameter (5.6mm). The lead holder holds one lead at a time.

Does this come with a rainbow lead?
