American apparel manufacturer Schott NYC, originator of the iconic leather motorcycle jacket and World War II bomber jackets, created this version of its classic A-2 leather aviator jacket especially for the Boeing centennial. The A-2 flight jacket was issued to U.S. Army Air Forces pilots, navigators, and bombardiers during WWII. This 27" jacket is made from natural-grain waxed cowhide and features dual-entry patch pockets, a hidden snap-down collar, brass zipper with hook-and-eye top closure under a leather flypiece, knit bottom and cuffs, and an exclusive100% cotton lining. Custom features salute a Boeing heritage legend, the North American P-51 Mustang fighter, with a replica "First Flight" data plate riveted onto the lining and sewn-in cloth patch commemorating the P-51 and the Boeing centennial. Brown. Made in U.S.A.
