Great Design and Functionality !!!!
I purchased this laptop stand recently and very happy with it. It's made out of aluminum ,very sturdy and fits my MacBook beautifully. My favorite feature is the phone holder which saves some space and safer for my phone when charging. It's also very easy to adjust the height and angle so my neck doesn't feel fatigue when reading or typing.Overall, this is a well-engineered laptop stand and really worthy to have one! Highly recommend ...

Sturdy design, the usb hub wins
I bought this just for the usb hub - which I find I don't use more often than I expected, but it's nice to have it.The mobile phone rest on the sides - good idea but bad execution, so I deduct a star there - coz too thin for my phone and the design isnt good for charging.

Phone Holder Obstruction Macbook Pro Models
Phone holders will not function on a Macbook Pro as they are mechanically placed exactly where the power, USB and Thunderbolt ports are thus, making them ineffective. One would have to remove them, drill two new holes and countersink for the fastener to be flush to the sheet metal. They'd need to be relocated to the front side of the Macbook Pro in order to be useful. The left arm threading comes loose and would require a left-hand thread or, Loc-Tite to prevent loosening up.Phone holders do not fit case on LG-V40 Thin-Q and it blocks access to the lower controls in the dock.Phone holder cord management is not thought out. When using to manage cord layouts, any cord inside the holder prevents phone / device from seating in the holder.Cutouts for cord do not fit larger connectors such as for an Apple iPod 160GB Classic. It would require milling out to enlarge the opening in the injection molded arm to accommodate such connectors that Apple used on some older devices. The adhesive used to secure the ABS rubber-like bumper material failed on the unit I received thus, the front bumper pad was not adhered and had shifted out of place. I had to use a heat gun, heat the sheet metal from behind to soften the spray on adhesive in order to slide the bumper back into proper position. The two mechanical arms aren't running on the same axis thus, it's cocked over to one side. Laptop sits crooked to base as a result. Some tweaking of the laptop and redesign in material choice - especially the spray on adhesive that wound up all over the base from the factory that I had to clean up, that wasn't chosen properly for the end-use application. The USB 3.0 Gen 1 hub appears to check out fine and registers but, without a power adapter, I would wager to bet this won't handle larger USB power consuming devices such as external drives etc. Two flash drives were tested - Kingston 128Gb and Samsung 128Gb - they didn't register immediately (as fast) like they do on a very old USB hub from Staples (USB 2.0) but, they did finally register in Finder after a few seconds. I didn't test read and write speeds however. The USB hub worked fine for a USB 2.0 Kinesis Keyboard and Kensington Low-Profile trackball.

Phone holders not sturdy
I really like this and it's perfect for my needs but the phone holders are way too flimsy to hold a phone or anything.
