Monopoly Star Trek Continuum

My husband and I really enjoy watching Star Trek TNG together, so I bought this for his birthday. We really enjoyed playing it together. While the rules are all exactly the same as the original Monopoly game, it was fun to read the descriptions of the different locations you can buy. Since I don't care about New York, I enjoyed this much more than trying to buy Broadway, which has little meaning for me.

I am English and had to import this from Amazon.com not Amazon.uk, which was a pain, however the product is good fun and good value for money, my son and myself are Star Trek and Syfi fans, so this game was enjoyable.

Item received as described; fast shipment. Fun new twist on the game of monopoly. However, the game pieces are a bit difficult to see against the very "busy" board graphics. Might have been more interesting had the houses and hotels actually been space ships or something that would tie in more with the theme than the regular houses and hotels from the standard monopoly sets. All in all, a fun game though.

I was very impressed by the promptness with which my purchase was handled. This gift was received in plenty of time for the birthday. The person who received this gift was also impressed. This was something that she had been looking for, but could not find in any stores. Also she does not have a computer. So I was glad that I could purchase this product for her. She is very happy with this gift.

We're big Star Trek fans and were a little disappointed in this game. I think we finally decided that whoever designed it wasn't a fan, but had one reference book and just based everything on that. Everything from their choices for the little pewter pieces to the properties themselves were strange and seemed kind of thoughtless. A musical instrument and wine goblet!!?? Someone who has never seen Star Trek could have come up with more iconic elements! And there's just no excuse for having the traditional "Jail" instead of a "Brig". And "Free Parking" should have been "Raisa" or a "docking station" at least! I get why they kept the standard house and hotel shapes even though they renamed them "ships" and "fleets". I'm sure casting something original would have been expensive, but it just comes off as cheap. Overall the game is as fun as Monopoly can be. But the properties weren't placed with any relevance - like they were taken right out of that one reference book and then just shuffled and placed. If you're a Star Trek fan, go with Star Trek Scene It!

I bought this game for my twelve year old son who is a Star Trek fan. The little pieces are the ships and phasers and walkie talkie things. (I am not a trekee lol) BUT, I really enjoyed playing this game with him. Very quality, as monopoly always is. He also got a laptop for Christmas, but he wanted to play this first. :) that says a lot. very good buy.

I purchased this game as a gift for a family headed by another genuine Star Trek fan. She loves it ... I love it ... her family loves it ... perfect! It's a great way to bring back wonderful memories of all the 'Star Trek' series, as well as introduce new fans to the older series in a fun, familiar way. Definitely a fun game for the whole family!

Immer gerne gespieltes Spiel. Für Fans von Star Trek fast ein Muss. Nur leider viel zu teuer! Trotzdem auch gut geeignet zum Englisch-Üben!
