All the information on this unit is in the installation manual on our website (www.stiebel-eltron-usa.com) This unit can be set from the thermostat which ranges from 41 - 86 F.

Q: How much energy does this use per hour?

If you want to know the maximum just take the 2000 running Watts (2kw) that it's rated for and multiply it by the cost of a kilowatt hour that you pay for. For example if you pay $0.12 per kilowatt hour it would cost you $0.24 per hour to run this unit on full blast. 2000 watts = 2kw... 2kw x $0.12 (cost per kilowatt hour) = $0.24. another example would be if you paid 17 cents per kilowatt hour it would cost you $0.34 per hour to run this unit on full blast.

Q: How many square feet will it heat

Rule of thumb for spacing heating is that for every 10 watts of power, it will do 1 square foot of room, assuming the room is well insulated and reasonable ceiling heights.
