I love my kitchen rug but it is time to replace. Is it possible to order rug without pad?????

No pad is needed. The floor facing section of the rug prevents it from slipping and is non-abrasive. I have a ruggable in my kitchen, entryway, and living room.

Does the 5x7 rug fit into a top loading washer?

Our 8’ x 10’ and 6’ x 9’ rugs can fit in a 3.8 cubic feet washer, while our 2.5’ x 7’, 2.5' x 10', 3’ x 5’ and 5’ x 7’ sizes can fit in a 2.2 cubic feet compact washer. In addition our 9'x'12' rugs can fit into a 4.2+ cubic feet washer.

Is there a way to keep the rug and pad from sliding on hardwood all the time?

Our Rug Pads are designed to grip hard floor surface flooring, including wood and tile, although there are some types of floor that may not be compatible with our design. In this particular scenario, I would recommend the following: Please double check that you’ve assembled the Rug System correctly, mainly ensuring that the rubbery side of the Rug Pad is against the floor and the corners of the Rug Pad are not tucked into the corners of the Rug Cover. We have an assembly video on Youtube if a visual representation would be helpful. Please ensure the floor is clean of any debris, dirt, or dust before positioning the Rug Pad. Once done so, please reassemble the rug system. While we do not officially require the use of grip tape or rug grips for our rug pads, we have had some customers relay that using such accessories did help keep the rug in place. Can one layer this over carpeting?

Hi, We typically do not recommend using a Ruggable Rug System over the carpet. Our rugs are specifically designed to be used in conjunction with our non-slip rug pad that grips on hard surfaces. Placing Ruggable Rug Systems directly over the carpet may cause a tripping hazard and also carpeting reduces the effectiveness of its grip.
