Reader-friendly and packed with useful tips, photos and charts, COMMERCIAL REFRIGERATION FOR AIR CONDITIONING TECHNICIANS, Fourth Edition, helps you apply existing HVACR skills to new concepts in order to service medium- and low-temperature refrigeration equipment such as walk-ins, reach-ins, refrigerated cases and ice machines. The text focuses on the food service industry and includes “how-to” advice from experienced professionals on installing, servicing and troubleshooting commercial equipment. Extensively updated throughout the text, the Fourth Edition includes a simplified, step-by-step flowchart for quickly diagnosing and addressing the nine most common refrigeration problems on the job--as well as new information on the latest advances in commercial refrigeration. Ideal for advanced refrigeration courses, this trusted text is equally valuable as a real-world resource you can take from the classroom to keep on hand in the truck or shop. COMMERCIAL REFRIGERATION FOR AIR CONDITIONING TECHNICIANS, Fourth Edition, is an indispensable tool for any technician working with commercial refrigeration today. Review: Informative! - Very informative book for anyone whos’s learning. Review: Great for a tech wanting to level up - I picked this up as an HVAC tech trying to get more comfortable around coolers and freezers and it delivers. It breaks down commercial refrigeration in a way that doesn’t feel like reading a textbook from 1972. The diagrams are well laid out, the examples actually make sense, and it connects the dots between A/C and refrigeration really well. That said, it’s still a textbook at the end of the day. Some parts are a bit dry and there’s a lot of info crammed in each chapter. But if you take your time and maybe re-read a few sections (I definitely had to), it really starts to click. This isn’t something I’d casually read on a beach, but as a tech in the field trying to level up, I’ve found it super useful. Definitely helped me feel less like a deer in headlights when working on walk-ins.

Good book
It’s a good book for commercial refrigeration. The quality of book is decent and lots of coloured pictures. It has only 390 pages, short and sweet.
