Anyone know if staedtler pens will work with koh-i-noor ink?

I am not sure of the koh-i-noor ink, but I have used black magic and pelikan in them before with no trouble. Pens just need to be cleaned and properly maintained.

Are the tips interchangeable?

Hi Cory, if you mean the pen nib the answer is yes. All the pen nib sizes will fit the barrel of the pen. When you buy a pen with a particular size point, in your case a size .18 mm, it will be marked on the outside of the pen barrel with that particular pen nib size. Some people buy one pen and then buy the different pen nibs separately to save money. Besides the barrels being marked,  each pen nib is also marked and colored coded. If you're using several different size points for a drawing it becomes time consuming taking out one nib, cleaning it and replacing it with another. Cleaning nibs after every time you use them is a must, especially for the four smallest pen nibs. I hope this helped. I have had my Staedtler pens for over 50 years and as long as you clean them and remember that they are a fine instruments,  they will last a very long time.

Will I be able to write on a grain of rice with this?

I have neither the knowledge nor the experience of writing on a grain of rice but my guess is it might. The 0.13mm point makes the thinnest of lines so its possible but whether the ink will bleed or run, l can't say. Good luck.

can you use koh i nor rapidograph universal ink in these?

Possibly you can.  There is the risk that it will block the nib given time but I think this would only be a risk in the 2 finest nibs.  I actually use calli ink as I have found this is less clogging than the Staedtler inks specified for the mars matic.
