LUCKY BUMS Metal Saucer Sled

So fast down the hills — puts plastic saucers to shame. We did peel away a bit of that beautiful green paint during our first sledding outing, and the steel did buckle and pop out a few times (particularly with my grownup butt riding it), so we went home with some mild wrinkles. But the Lucky Bums saucer feels fairly indestructible; and even if it gets a little less pristine each year, I suspect it will be around a good long time.

We love these saucers!! We’ve been using them for four years and they work great! Yes, they get dings and bangs. For big dents you just hit them back out. Everywhere we use them, people want to know where we got them. Four years of great fun with many more to come.

Received with chips out of the paint. It doesn't affect the functionality but worries that it could potentially rust prematurely since the metal is visible. It did have one small dent as well but nothing severe. The box was undamaged so it wasn't caused by shipping, it was clearly packaged up with these blemishes.

Kids were very happy with this. We were tired of plastic saucers that crack or inflatable saucers that pop. We were buying something new every winter. This is sturdy and very fast. Expect it will last many winters. It does dent easily— dented on my child’s second ride down the hill. It still works fine with the dents though.

So i will say that this dents very easily. The first couple trips down a small hill, it already looked pretty beat up. BUT that didn't make it any less fun. It's way faster than a plastic sled and will probably last way longer.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my son. Nice initial quality and knew beforehand that it would be heavy. Unfortunately, it is already rusting where he sled on. No scratches from rocks or dirt.

They are well built, quality construction and should last our grandchildren for years of fun! They are heavy weight quality that is rarely seen these days. We love these saucer sleds. We are very pleased with the two we ordered!
