Beer Coolies for Bottles - 4mm Thick Supercoolies - Premium Set of 4 Luau Collapsible Coolies - Pink, Green, Light Blue, Yellow - Extra Thick Neoprene with Stitched Fabric Edges

I purchased these beer cozies just over two months ago but only really started using them about a month ago. Partial to blue, I chose that one to use first. Everything was going fine for the first couple of weeks - the neoprene is thick which I think did keep my beer cooler longer - and it certainly solved the condensation problem. The neoprene fits snugly on a standard beer bottle which makes it a bit harder to pull up the zipper but is, I think, necessary to proper insulation and also to making sure the bottle has a flat-ish enough bottom surface so it doesn't tip over.So, why the 3-star review? Well, after just a couple of weeks, I was zipping up my blue cozy when, whoop, the zipper flew off the top and entirely off its track. On closer inspection, I realized that the black lip at the top of the cozy, while it initially covered the zipper end was not actually sewn down to prevent the zipper from coming off its track (see photo). After that happened with the blue cozy, I switched to using the green one. What happened next? Well, so far the zipper has stayed on that one - the lip seems to be sewn down a little bit further - but after only a couple of uses, the zipper handle broke off (see photo). I have never had that happen before on any zippered product. My temporary solution is to use a paperclip in lieu of the zipper handle which awkwardly does the job. However, as I sit down now to darn the lips of the cozies, to make sure the zippers don't fly off when you zip them up, I can only say I am disappointed with the quality of the zippers on these cozies. I could understand if these sorts of things happened after sustained use but after only a few uses? Not great.UPDATE (October 26, 2016):I am updating my review to four stars. After I wrote the above review, the seller commented and offered to send a replacement which, after I contacted them, was sent promptly. Upon receipt, I examined the cozies and the zippers seem to be better secured at the top than in the first batch I received. They have not yet been use-tested but it seemed fair to up the stars on my review to reflect Dossini's attentive customer service.

These Koozies are noticeably much thicker than standard ones. I haven't tested to see how long they keep a beverage cold but they are very thick so I imagine they will work better than others. The reason for 2 stars is that they are not as tall as other koozies. Because of this, they can't zip all the way up. I couldn't even zip it up fully on a bottle of Corona which has a fairly long neck. I don't expect these to last long here. I suspect that someone will try to force the zipper up and break it. Disappointing!

We take these when we travel, as many other countries only offer soda in glass bottles, and these have done a great job keeping our sodas cold while drinking them. Our friends use them for beer bottles. Everyone seems to like them, and the colors are nice too. They are durable and should last a long time, and I like that the zipper goes down low so it's easy to put your bottle in and remove it.

A-Number-1!These are the BEST coolies I have ever owned or used, from the thick insulating material, the heavy duty zipper securely stitched along with the lining or piping around the top and zipper right down to and including the critically important bottom which is of the same material and securely stitched around that bottom.I have owned many different coolies or bottle beverage jackets for my personal use over the years and it is a rare thing to find any that do not have a rubber bottom glued into place. Sooner or later those glued-in bottom pieces start separating from the upper material and the inferior coolie gets tossed in the trash.I was not compensated for this review, I just love this product and may even order them again!My Dossini Beer Bottle Coolies are of the highest quality and I rate them Superior!

While I don't normally write a product review after my purchases because Amazon requires that I write a 500,000 word novel to qualify as a review I found that I must comment on these great Dossini coolies for bottles. They are thicker than others coolies ive used in the past, the stitching seems to be first rate and the zipper is heavy duty. Your normal everyday coolie barely makes it through a year before giving up the ghost but I anticipate these Dossini coolies will be with me many a summer day.

My husband had been looking at a set of different colors of this (unbeknownst to me). When I got him this set of blue ones (when they appeared as suggested items when I was ordering something else), he was thrilled. He thinks they look like they were made for the new Bud Light bottles. They were a little snug at first, but a few uses later fit perfectly.

Overall a very good product! Ideal for those hot summer days! The one exception that I have with the item is that it could have been just little more bigger or wider because some bottles it does not cover the necks of the bottles totally and it also makes the zipper on the item tough to pull up all the way and could possibly tear the material or break the zipper altogether!. I give it four out of five stars!

Really nice attention to detail. Great fit on any bottle of beer. Short enough for a stout bottle, but also keeps all but the first sip of a longneck cold. Love the stitching that doesn't come loose after a few uses like the typical coolie, and the strong quality zipper. Haven't found a bottle of beer yet that these don't fit and protect perfectly with no effort. Love 'em, and wouldn't drink beer outdoors in South Florida without a set of these.
