Cute and does the job

Presently buying my 5th set. These are wonderful and I want to be sure I never run out of them. Have an all electric house with baseboard heat. The electric heat is not only extremely expensive to use, but it dries the air terribly. It takes 4 of these domes in the bedroom to counteract the dry hot air. Keep them on a tray so no problem with spill over water during refills. After a long while they do need a bit of attention. A good scrubbing with mild detergent and bleach takes care of the problems and doesn't affect their effectiveness. Highly recommend.

I use these in winter months in my bedroom. I place the smaller one on my nightstand within a few inches of the bedside. It improves my sinuses greatly. No more waking up with a headache. The other is on my bureau. However, today I noticed some mold growth in the larger one. I scrubbed it and used some witch hazel on the mold to clean it. I think I will use distilled water in them going forward. I am ordering another set for my house plants areas. They do develop a crusty area on top, nothing a little water and scrub brush won't remove.

I join others who've pointed out how limited the effectiveness of these are. Put humidity tester next to them & did same with water in a dish & no difference in effectiveness. But they look nice.

These worked well for about 2 months. After that, the larger one is covered in mold all over the top and a ring of mold on the inside. I contacted Amazon and they did not offer a solution. These are advertised for plants and baby's rooms, seems like these should be looked into more.

I purchased these on an idea of someone else using them in their plant cabinet. They work well if someone is looking for them for their plant cabinet. I have a rudsta for IKEA and have the smaller one on the top shelf and the bigger one on the bottom. They do elevate my humidity by 20%.

I ordered these because the air is so dry in our house in the winter. I put the small one under my houseplants and the big in my bedroom. I can see the difference with plants! They love them. I feel the one in my bedroom worked well. No carry heavy equipment around from a conventional humidifier. My only problem is when filling them. If you pour water over the top, it splashes on the surface of whatever the humidifier is sitting on. If you lift the ball to fill you have to be careful not to overfill or water spills out over the edges. I am not sure there is a way to fix this issues. I would buy more for sure even with this issue. I love that it is a natural humidity so no water running down the windows or stuffy feeling from adding too much water into the air. I actually purchased 2 sets and would do it again. I am actually considering for my greenhouse in the winter for my plants.

I really wanted to love these and did at first, but they are now stained and discolored despite only using filtered water. I tried cleaning in a number of solutions including baking soda and vinegar, but it didn’t help at all. I’m hoping it’s not mold considering they are intended to release that water into the air.I would appreciate it if the manufacturer responded to the issue as I read about it in multiple reviews (only after purchasing unfortunately).
