TRD Grille Decor Badge, 3-Color Upgrade Emblem, Universal Compatible with Toyota 4Runner Tacoma Tundra & Other Mesh or Slotted Grille (Black)

Installation was pretty simple. No instructions were provided but you can pretty much figure out how to attach it. If not you can find a short YouTube How-to video

You have to remove the cover above your radiator to gain access to where you can reach down and install the unit where you would like to. That means removing 13 pop out clips, but if you are familiar with doing that, it’s pretty easy (If you aren’t search for any YouTube channel that shows installation of an after market bumper as the same procedure is usually the first step for any of those videos). Looks good, and is as advertised.

THis emblem is exactly what I was looking for and it fits my truck grill perfect!

Will not fit the top grill of a 2000-2006 Tacoma (or comparable 2001-2007) Sequoia UNLESS you opt to place it lower in the "diamond-style" grill in-line with the fog lights. Clearly cheaply made as seen by the rough cut of the moulding process and the slightly washers out colour and sharp edges but who's going to check that close anyways? 5 stars if they addressed these issues or even better, made an all-metal one. I suppose it would cost more then though.

I liked the look and placed my order. Arrived in a day. I watched a video about installing the product on my 4Runner grill. It might be hard to see but a threaded post go into a hole that has a nut. You screw them in, apply Loctite is recommended, put it through the grill. There's a plastic "dog Bone" piece that goes over the 2 posts and flush against the backside of the grill. finger tighten another set of nuts on the screws. Simple right? Mine broke, the screw in the back of the plate came out as I was putting on...not tightening it. The screw fell out of the plate with a nut on it. When I got the pieces out I looked at the back, See picture with 3 pieces. The other nut in the plate had started to come apart also.I figured it was a waste of time to send it back. I used Gorilla glue to put the plate screws back together and once it dried I completed the assembly.LETS SEE IF IT HOLDS UP.Update October 5, 2024: plastic film starting to peel off. Waiting to see if it takes the graphics with it. NOT GOOD.

The emblem looks good but is all plastic. I doubt it will last.

Hard to attached the bolt in the screw inside of Four runner no access.Screw is not black or rust protected

Look very nice….after a year start to rust and logo little bit use by the sun

Poor built quality.- sharp edges on the plastic trim- Female Thread on the plastic is loose.

Ordered three times before I got one that wasn’t chipped/ cracked. The first two came in a plastic bag but the third one came in the box with the molded styrofoam from the pics in the listing here.Happy with the look, appears to be good quality. Will update the post with pics after install.
